Cool, thanks for letting me know.

BB was the only TF movie I have seen from start to finish so I'll justify this purchase by telling myself that this is an Asia exclusive diaclone orange and black repaint from the Takara Tomy mall of Megatron.

Boy, I can enable my self into buying just about anything these days.

IFallen is based on their Megatron mold, so you would be kinda correct in your rationalization! :D

Unfortunately, I didn’t have much of an interest in trying to transform The Fallen when I got him out of his packaging, but I will do that some time soon, and snap some pics with him and Iron Factory’s Brawl.

I also forgot about the shoulder hard point for his cannon until the very end, which is kinda unfortunate.

    Anyhoo...

Now, I didn’t know that the weapon holding hands have an extra hinge in them, which is pretty cool and you can see the pin in the pic below...

    223EBBB0-C889-432C-AF43-ECF687E9E121.jpeg

Now, sometime this weekend I had the thought of using the combined pole arm as an Insect Glaive and New Age’s Insecticons like a Kinsect from the Monster Hunter series.

Granted, there’s no way to actually secure them to the Fallen’s arm, so I just had to have them posed on the lance...

My expectation was that Kickback would be the easiest one to pose seeing as his hind legs could grip the mace half, while Bombshell would be the toughest to balance.

To my surprise, it was Shrapnel who was the easiest to get seated, though, sure enough, Bombshell was the hardest to get steady. I was even more initially surprised at the trials that Kickback put me through, but it quickly became obvious that the hind legs weren’t all that helpful and instead just had Kickback holding on while also falling off. :lol

    Anyway...

Here’s a final group shot with my last 3P purchase, IF’s Exhaust, who I though would offer a nice bit of contrast...

And, finally, here they are posed in their current shelf space:

I should've collected legends, I'm in too deep with CHUGs now though.

I used to collect chugs, but then MP and later legends came along. Now most of my chugs are all in boxes.
These days legends are usually more poseable than chugs and have less gaps. Plus they are smaller.
MPs are their own thing and just as fun to collect.

Ultimately what you collect and how you spend your money is up to you. I can't afford everything either. So get what you think best.

Begin with your favourite characters, and then die a little inside when the Iron Factory versions are sold out or have ridiculous after-marker prices.

I've settled on the Chaos Knight configuration for my guy, so he's transformable at a moment's notice. And I made him a double ended Mace for a weapon (think Monk's Daibo from Diablo3). Everyone has swords. I wanted him to have something unique.

But now I have these two leftover sword tips... and was thinking they'd make great little daggers, they just need a little 5mm peg adapter to whatever size peg fits into the hole on the bottom. 3mm?

Further, I was thinking of giving those daggers and the cape to IF's Obsidian (Nova Storm) once it's released... those should look cool together.

@NOCV do you have this guy? Any interest in making little handles for the sword tips?

wow, this figure is SO BAD-ASS. the way he rocks the cape, to the cannon he can wield in hand, mounted on his arm or shoulder, to the multi-piece spear/staff/blade(s) to the heavy metal gothic look and platform boots!

not sure if i even care to transform him into his alt to be honest.

glad i found this on sale and took the opportunity to give it a try! damn impressive, second to only maybe HeatDeath as my fav so far! it's damn close though, good job IF!

here's my follow up to my prev question. wasn't happy with the dead eyes so decided to paint the light piping. managed to split the head apart and take it off the figure, but couldn't figure out how to get the light piping out easily, and i didn't want to risk damaging it. so instead went in with a fine brush and painted the eyes metallic red.

Nice. What did it take to separate the head halves?

i first tried using my finger nail to see if i could split the two halves from the either sides of the head at the bottom where the ball joint is. once i was able to open a small crack on both sides, i wedged a spludger to gently pry front/back sections apart.

are you wanting to paint the eyes too? if so, i would recommend just painting the eyes without taking the head off with a fine tip paint brush. the trouble i ran into was that the mouth grill is actually part of the orange light piping and has been painted over with the same black of the rest of the head. i also found what looked like some white glue residue where the light piping was fitted to the front portion of the head.

so this morning i decided that i wanted to do a little more with the head as i found the mouth grill a little lost as well. originally was going to go in and add some dark silver/grey accents. but saw this image posted by @Tekkaman Blade a few posts back and decided to try it. what are ppl's thoughts… a little too much???

    2474681-the_fallen_cover_tf_the_war_within_dark_ages_6.jpg PXL_20201108_133756219-01.jpeg PXL_20201108_134946582-01.jpeg

and for those thinking about taking the head off the figure, here are some more detailed shots so you can get a sense if you'd want to do it. it prob does make it a little bit easier to paint if you are working with just the face as opposed to handling the whole figure.
