Easily the best Grimlock ever. The MP is awesome, but this one looks like it will be loads of fun in comparison. Also, love the comparison with the trainwreck that is the PotP version.
This think looks pretty great. the permanently dabbing wheelie is gonna be tossed in a box though, the Japanese TR Wheelie is still excellent
Now, THAT is a figure that looks worth his leader pricing! Just about every spot is 'solid' on all sides when transformed in either mode, and he looks awesome. I LOVE his height. If they do indeed ever finish off all five Dinobots (we are expecting it, but it's not a guarantee), I will be very happy. Can't wait for Slag!
Wow, if they have plans to make the other Dinobots, with the same TLC and accuracy as THIS ....then wow, just wow.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good all these 86 figures have been? Hasbro should honestly pay themselves on the back. This stuff looks amazing.
Hes great, I wont lie. However, unless they do a Snarl (which it seems like they arent) I likely won't upgrade my Potp figures. Those are fine (fine not good), and retroactively scale fairly decent now that Siege and ER have shrunk the standard. Theyre not the best true, but I want my Dinobots to match. So it's either 5 for me or none, lol.
Disliking the clear chest is fine, but black is completely wrong. If it were accurate, it would be the same color as the rest of his chest and not clear.
The one thing PotP Grimlock has over Studio 86 Grimlock is that gold finish. Otherwise, this is the Grimmy I've been waiting for ages. Well done Hasbro.
Even if they wanted to do it for ANY reason, it makes no sense. You can barely see the insignia. Huge downgrade there. I wonder if you can take it off?
I sure hope that isn't the deluxe Gnaw. Looks like the older one in new colors. I NEVER want to see that arm, legs combo crap again!
It's baffling for the same reason companies like Nintendo will not hire programmers who work on fangames. Remember the AM2R debacle? They would be seen as officially encouraging and endorsing such behavior. Sure, Sega did, but most won't. Honestly, it's as baffling as Hasbro licensing 3P figures and selling them as official merchandise. The fact that they have had factories raided already tells you what their stance is on the matter.
Grimlock looking like a big chunky boi. But I'm sticking up with my POTP Dinos. But the dark chest piece looks bad. You can barely make out the insignia.
