So I checked to see if anyone in China has been able to get a copy or handle the second shipment and it hasn't happened yet. I was lead to believe that it was already out by another seller but they probably didn't understand my question or just wanted me to by a copy of the first shipment they had in stock. I'm still waiting on that. So... what's this I am reading about a possible IT Optimus Prime??? I hate how this rumor works perfectly as just a rumor. Wish there were at least a lead to follow. Anyway, I'd still be watchful of the release. Their recent Dinobot and BW Megatron were alright from what I hear. Not as amazing as their G1 Megatron. I could be wrong about the general consensus on that but it's what I've come to understand based on a few reviews I watched on them. Let the reviews flow.
Pretty sure it's already way past well known, but here's the Matrix from my MP44 KO in the compartment of my MP40 Targetmaster Hot Rod...perfect fit. Gonna guess that the lil' diecast Matrix that came with the Reveal the Shield Battle in Space set (Hot Rod & Cyclonus) is a bit bigger than what MP10 got, because that thing wouldn't fit in MP40.
Yeah, the Matrix in that set was originally created for the New Years reissue G1 Optimus Prime back in 2002. It actually fits in G1 Optimus and can also be worn as a necklace by humans! It was also later included together with a short chain with reissue G1 Galvatron in 2005.
Second shipment seems to be out. Still awaiting a confirmation as well as an honest hands on review before any triggers get pulled. Here are some images I copped: It seems they painted the eyes on all heads and the wrist arrows. Thoughts?
so they painted the eyes and didnt paint the forearm detail now, the first batch is actually painted red (they were red in the cartoon) they're orange, just scratch the red paint off the ones on the first batch and they'll be orange
Leg panels seem to stay tabbed together better. Can't tell if the forearms are better or not. Honestly, if they fixed the hips and the tabbing of the leg panels, I'd buy a second copy then kit bash it with my first copy. I don't like the yellow arrows on the forearms, since it's not toon accurate. I'd probably just keep one in alt mode and one in bot mode. I'm slowly starting to get two copies of all my Primes anyway, LOL. I have two TE-01s, MS-01 and MS-01X, two Earthrise Primes, and I'm working on a second MP-10. Why not have two MP-44s? LOL.
Would prefer the arrows staying red but it's not a big deal. Painted eyes are nice but I would be disappointed if they dedicated their budget towards that instead of fixing many of the known issues the first batch had.
Gdangit I need this stuff while being self quarantined working with an associate who had Coronavirus in a shed about 8x10. That dude was coughing up a lung all shift!
Good news. The panels on the inner legs seem to not tab in again. But that's nothing to fix, I just hope they fixed the hips. Where did you get these pics? @Minimaximus any news from your seller?
