Yet again he lists them before the Asian stock is put up or even freaking announced. Thrust was just announced today just announced yet TFsource had him posted and already sold out weeks ago.

 

If you are willing to bite the bullet try a reputable proxy and get Thrust from Takara Mall. I mean again, bite the bullet or wait for an eventual re-issue (?). The former will be expensive and getting it from the previous mentioned domestic sources are also expensive (not sure if I can call that a win win for the wallet..

I missed the boat on  Thrust because of RK's SUCKY search engine but managed to score Runabout from them  

 

Thrust was just announced for the JAPANESE market. That does not mean any other market (Canadian, European, South American, Asian, etc..) didn't already have pre-orders up. Sheesh. Japan is historically the LAST market to get an official release, which is unfortunate for collectors in that area, along with the increased pricing.

I live in the US and had my pre-order in at Target, although I suspect I'll see him on store shelves before then. Yeah, RK's search engine is still awful. I was hoping it'd get better after they "upgraded" their system but didn't. I have another order coming in from them hopefully soon.

 

Yup. Trying to limit inventory size. These are all "risky" untested products. The BW main characters are fine but the JP market is kind of finicky.

 

I missed out as well on Thrust but TFsource scalped Target's website ordered thru several accounts. here is some pics i took 2 weeks ago. See what i mean 2 weeks Thrust was just announced thru Target not Asian markets. Also note RUnabout was limited 1 per customer thru Target yet you could order 10 thru TFsource....

 

They sourced from Hasbro Asia, not Target

 

Thrust and Runabout haven’t even been announced in Canada if I recall, but will surely release here. We don’t always have to get announcements to coincide with preorders.

 

Put in my preorders for Thrust and Runabout on TT Mall. The price sucks with the Yen exchange rate but I don't have much faith in them showing back up on Target online so better safe than sorry.

 

Someone brought up they are in the TRU system for Canada but not able to be preordered yet.

Those Seacons where in Hasbro boxes not Takara Tomy boxes and the preorders were up the day Hasbro announced it it was a while before TT announced theirs and opened it up to preorders nobody else unless TFsource has a magical means to be able to source store exclusives to that store and them including the company that makes the figures and they arrive at the same date Hasbro stock arrived. Then again I do wonder if they were able to get these netflicks figures since those are not released by Takara tomy at all yet so how please enlighten me, facts are facts the are scalping hard with bots on several accounts, and as soon as the black Friday sale is done their credit card info will be stolen once again you know about 10 years now of that happening. If you want to doubt me use a credit card that you have used nowhere else then wait for a random pizza to be ordered then other oddities like shoes, should be around the 1st of Dec.\, may google and tdw2005 forms prove me right.

 

You understand that Hasbro Asia and Takara are different, right? Takara's only market is Japan, while Hasbro Asia serves the rest of Asia. Hasbro Asia typically releases everything that Hasbro US does, but items that are retailer exclusives in the US are usually all available at all retailers over there (and usually come out first over there). So yes, American sites can easily order non-exclusive stock of these from Hasbro Asia, at a higher price than they're sold for in the US.

HASBRO Asia does not sell any of the netflicks stuff so how did he get that and it's the timing what part of that do you not understand? what part of exclusives that only once place on the planet has listed for sale and TFsource, not BBTS or Entertainment Earth, Ages3andup, Toy Dojo, Robot Kingdom, or any of those stores post up their stuff as quickly as TFsource IE the same day as new stuff just say Target and TFsource or Walmart and TFsource or Hasbro Pulse and TFsource yet they are exclusives to all those stores none are TFsource yet TFsource is listed. Do you honestly think Hasbro is sitting there thinking hey we just charged someone 30 thousand to have these 16,000 exclusive figures but let's have an exception clause where TFsource gets some too and can charge whatever they want for them too? I understand you are not TFsource is scalping off those websites, it's so obvious to most people it's not funny, far from it.

 

"Only one place on the planet" - no. In Asian markets, items that are retailer exclusives in the US are typically available at general retail - we've been repeatedly explaining this to you. And yes, that includes the Netflix figures - Netflix wave 2 is already out at Asian retail.

BBTS has a direct partnership with Hasbro US, and doesn't import Hasbro Asia stock of items that are retailer exclusives in the US so as to not cause any issues with their relationship with Hasbro (for example, Hasbro US asked BBTS to stop selling the Seacons, since they're supposed to be Pulse exclusive in the US, and BBTS obliged). TFSource does not appear to have the same direct relationship with Hasbro US, and so feels free to import anything and everything from Hasbro Asia to resell here.

 

So no other place except TFsource in the US can get those Hasbro Asia products?

 

Not sure where you got the idea that only TFSource carries figures that are retailer exclusives in the US - The Chosen Prime, for example, typically carries Hasbro Asia imports as well. They have the Netflix figures: Netflix X Transformers: Siege Bumblebee

 

Yes, they do sell the Netflix stuff, that's how places like Robot Kingdom (Hong Kong) and Daming Toys (Taiwan) have already released them. The Chosen Prime has also sold Netflix wave 2 figures, sourced from Hasbro Asia. People are literally giving you the information you are asking for and you are refusing to accept it.

Yes, eventually not the day of and I am very happy they get those figures too. I lived in Canada and was able to get a few TFers out of a Sears afterwards i learned they were never sold in the US and UK got alot more of them too, so limited figures to one area is horrible, so yes i am happy they do sell them in other markets, but this is US exclusive market item that is sold in another US market location with the exact same arrival dates of the US items where the Hasbro Asia items arrive at a different time because they are from a different batch. Check the est shipping dates of Hasbro Asia Thrust to Targets then that to TFsource, guess what one matches Target's dates.
