    Hmm. Aside from the MakeToys Conehead, those prices are meh. A bit.

    Thanks for the pic!

    Regarding the Target BOGO50. Target Friday and Saturday BOGO50 does not scan as applying to deluxes, leaders and others but a checkout it still does. With current $18 WFC deluxes thats $14 deluxes.

    MPM Ratchet. Combined the BOGO50 and 25% off one item. It comes out to one Ratchet for $90 and the second ratchet for $68. With Redcard total is $162 after taxes. This deal still available online.

    FYI, the talking $30 Pikachu and Charmander and snoring Snorlax do not qualify for the BOGO50.

    Dang it. You made me go buy these for the blast effects. You know what's crazy. I could swear two months ago that one target I visited had these clearanced to $9.99 but I was avoiding ML so I didn't look to closely. If I had known it had blast effects and a stand I would have cleared them out. All the other targets have always had it at regular price.

    So, I’m probably gonna sound like an idiot, but does the buy one get one 50% off thing only apply to figures of equal value? Or is it quite literally “buy a figure and get half of any other figure off”? And if I buy 6 figures, am I allowed to pair them up? Also, does Walmart have any deals going on?

    As always with BOGO deals, the discounted item must be of equal or lesser value to the full-price item.

    Keep in mind, Pulse sells 3 packs of the stand for $15. Next batch isn't due until spring 2021 but there's a preorder.

    I use all 3 arms on one stand for a Tamashii Trident style display that takes less space. The only difference is the 3 pack stands have the Pulse logo and have no blast effects.

    Good deal if you want the effects I guess but the stands are cheaper through Pulse.

    Yeah I saw the 3 packs on pulse, but went with the black widows since I wanted the blast effects and it wasn't significantly more.

    The pulse 3 pack after shipping was $22 for me for (3) stands. The target deal gives (2) stands and a ton of blast effects for about $23. You also get black widows which can be given to young family members or sold on ebay to recoup the cost difference. Mine are going to my daughter and my niece ;) .

    Thank you. I've had my eye on that set for awhile, but didn't want to drop $30 on given that I have given up every line but TFs. Managed to snag 2 sets for under $25.

    Here's an example of my checkout today.

    1 item - scan 1st Leader -> price $49.99 (total savings $0)
    2 item - scan 2nd Leader -> price $37.49 for both (total savings $25)
    3 item - scan 1st Battle Master -> price $5.99 (total savings $25)
    4 item - scan 2nd Battle Master -> price $4.49 for both. (total savings $25 + $3 = $28)
    5 item - scan 1st Deluxe -> price of deluxe was $16.49, price of one BM stayed at 4.49. Price of one BM went back up to $5.99. (total savings $25 + $3 = $28)
    6 item - scan 2nd Deluxe -> price of both deluxes went to $13.49, both battlemasters back to $4.49 (total savings $25 + $9 + $3 = $37).

    All clear right? LOL. ;)

    I you want I could explain more the reason for all this complicated math. Back in the days you could cheat the stores with the BOGO50 deals if you were morally-dark-gray enough.

    EDIT : Also, I consider it morally-light-gray, but I'm pretty sure most people have realized that you can also game the $10 off $50/$25 off $100 deals right?

    Stumbled across this while looking for something else, but Macy's has ER Starscream for $23.99 and ER Hoist for $15.99. Never would have thought of Macy's as place to buy Transformers. They only have eight listings, but I'm surprised to see any at all.

    Obviously ymmv, but my local Wal-Mart has all non-candy Halloween stuff on clearance at 90% off. I was able to get all of these costumes for less than $10 to add to the Toys for Tots pile! Gonna have a few extra Transformers, Power Rangers, and Marvel heroes opening up presents in my area this year!

    Great chance for Siege and Earthrise wave 1 figures. Also spotted a boatload of Earthrise Optimus Prime sets at my local Meijer. Extra holiday displays at the doors and at the seasonal areas.

    Well.... Mall department stores as in anchor stores that are mostly known for clothing and household products. Like Sears and JC Penney. I do know that KB was in charge of the Toys in terms of mall retail before it went kaput in 2009.

    A lot of stores are adding or expanding toy departments for the holiday season. I've even seen farm supply and home improvement stores add toys!

    And everyone should be watching Aldi's. They frequently have some crazy deals too around the Holiday. I'd expect with TRU folding we will see the return of a lot of toy sections like when I was a kid.

    Most of those aren't department stores (which offer a variety of good in different departments) but specialty shops (BB, KB, TRU, Suncoast, FYE, Go Calendars, etc). Woolworth's was a five-and-dime store, which is considered different from a department store.

    Of the remaining stores, Marshall's, TJ Maxx, and Kohl's are discount dept stores and not the traditional mall anchors I think the OP was referring to.

    I don't know Lazarus stores at all as they were a midwest thing, but in the northeast I don't remember JCP or Sears having a significant toy section for over 20 years.
