Bought a trio of old-school third-party CHUG delights from the one and only Spadeshock. Communication was prompt, courteous, and professional. We easily settled on a price + shipping, and he quickly had a tracking number out to me. The figures were packed perfectly, and made it to me on-time and in excellent condition. Communication was probably the slowest I've ever had here. Took a week to ship, which isn't all that bad, except that I never once got any sort of timeframe on it. Once I paid and got a reply that it was received, not a peep until it shipped... Was overcharged almost $8 for shipping. When I asked why so high ($22 for one figure with no packaging) was simply told "that's what they charged me." And wouldn't provide any info on what type of service was used, or if insurance was added, etc. I know shipping has gotten more expensive, but refusing to give me the details of why (especially when UPS quoted me so much less when I overestimated what actually was sent) is particularly annoying when I was just trying to understand the charges. I've never once been given a reason to ask that before, and the lazy attitude extended beyond that. Especially as we continue on: Next, they didn't even put my full address on the label, or the label UPS prints themselves. Which is simply adding my 3 digit apt number. So I got to call UPS myself and fix that. As for the packing, see the photo included. The figure has paint flaws now, because the weapons that are silver were all bunched inside a bag with the figure directly pressing against the blue paint and normal plastic of the figure. While the package itself was well-packed, this pretty simple oversight has now left streaks of paint across the figure's front end in Alt mode, and will require some sort of repair that won't melt the plastic, which isn't the easiest thing in the world. And if the packing wasn't the case (the shipping box had zero damage) - I wasn't told anything about any of this before it got shipped, anyway, and it's plainly visible. So take your pick on that one.
