Where are Prowl’s shoulder cannons? You can’t have Prowl without shoulder cannons?

Got my set today... really liking Prowl. I feel the proportions and look are great. But underwhelmed by Ironhide, which is a shame. I like the Siege version, which just feels better assembled. Is it me or is this G1 Ironhide kinda wiggly, with his legs all just friction hinges and no pins? Things just want to pop off if you breathe on it too hard.

In regards to the leg flaps falling off, you just need to run a small drill bit through the existing hole to clean it out some, fixes is 100%.

Edit: use your fingers to turn the bit through the hole, not the actual drill.

I did it on both my Siege and ER.

Prowl is good, obviously hits that similar enough threshold that I like about Siege -> ER. Slightly less fun and easy to transform, but I don't mind getting the Barricade version. Now that's out of the way.

Ironhide's been a LONG time coming. Seige was so close they tweaked exactly what they needed and added a shield to finish the job. And that shield makes my day, it is by a wide margin the most successful multipurpose chunk of alt mode we've got. A little weird it looks best mounted to his shoulder, but it's a proper looking defensive implement. Does the job posing like the triangle is for melee too. The cannon mode works for me. The "battle sled" that they literally put in the instructions is a cute nod and more effective than Arcee's. I haven't felt this good since Optimus himself.

Yeah but the cartoon is wrong. Comics and toy had cannons. 2/3

I dare you to show me ONE instance where the G1 cartoon made a mistake. I'll wait.

Im so sad my set, and my runamuck got delayed. I ordered Trailbreaker at the last second and got it. But my Runamuck that was preordered got delayed.

Considering they’re generally aiming for cartoon accuracy, I’d say the g1 toy/comics are irrelevant to the look they’re going for. If you want shoulder cannons for prowl then you have to buy an extra Bluestreak or a 3p kit

Amazon delayed my pre-order by a month, seriously, I\'ve been waiting since July to get this set and now I have to wait an extra month for no good reason.

You really got my number. I NEVER use sarcasm. I promise that when I do, I always use a giant sign that says I'm being sarcastic because that makes it work better.

Got my set yesterday, surprised to have it come in a Hasbro shipper box and inside an Amazon box. Overall I like the set, my only complaint is Ironhide\'s right leg panel pops off too easily. Open to recommendations on a quick fix. Oh and hi I\'m longtime visitor/new to the boards.

I agree in a lot of cases it's more than a bit of a cheat, but in this instance it really was supposed to be a cheaper shortcut to make an Earthrise version of Ironhide without needing an entirely new figure. So it was this or nothing, but at least a battle sled is somewhat accurate to G1 Ironhide. All in all, having him in hand I really like Earthrise Ironhide and how this turned out and the shield does work out ok.

Prowl's pretty great, too, although I decided to do the head swap with Siege for a more unique Prowl look. But this is a great set.

Love the groupshots and love the humorous ones.

I think it's a case of Earthrise Ironhide is really a good figure but Siege Ironhide is better in every way.
I wonder why Hasbro used two different shades of red plastic.

    I may try that!
    Was it an easy swap?

I think Siege Prowl's head looks better. The "horns" especially look better. But Earthrise handled the horns in a way that is more durable and less likely to break.
