Those are some solid videos! Very clear and concise. Not too overly loud or crazy like some reviewers can be, but also not monotonous or boring either which is the case with some other reviewers. It’s this middle ground that makes me feel cozy and chill.

At last. It is complete.

 

Well this was a surprise. Starscream definetly looks interesting, he looks beefier than Blitzwing. But his colors are a bit too bright, and that third wing under the jet just looks bad. Probably a pass for now.

 

Huh, so even in the stock photos the eyes are properly larger and in the proper place. Hope they do that for the release. Seems like even they know the big eyebrows aren’t eyebrows.

 

I’m happy for the people who wanted a bb movie Starscream, but I’m just not feeling it. His looks too wide and then gets skinny and then gets wide again... which I guess is more of a problem with the design more, however, it doesn’t translate best with this toy. Speaking of the toy, it looks cheap with the colors and the plastic, and the jet looks like a kibble mess

Finally got this guy in. Made a small chest modification to get his “pot belly” to lie a little more flush with his chest.



Now I’m just waiting on a few upgrade kits.

I could not be happier with the BB Starscream reveal. The only problem is that I am gonna have to choose which Screamer to keep on my shelf щ(ﾟДﾟщ)

I know we're all but guaranteed Skywarp/Thundercracker repaints, but something interesting to note is this possible rotational joint at the wingtip:

But that's also how Thrust orients his wings. If Starscream had an optional flip up collar-cone, this would be the perfect all-inclusive Seeker mold.

Studio Series 72 Starscream should be how characters with the same body type should be handled.

His sculpt looks awesome, but the paint is a little... bright? It still looks good, but maybe the Cybertron lighting made it look different to me?

He’s essentially an entirely new mold despite essentially being a slightly different Blitzwing. This was a great decision and it’s a shame that they didn’t do this for Revenge of the Fallen Soundwave.

What they did with RotF Soundwave would be like if they decided to remold Blitzwing’s plane into a Tetrajet, or tweaked Helicopter Dropkick to turn into a car. Imagine how mad people would be if they remolded Revenge of the Fallen Megatron to transform into a fucking Mack truck. That would look horrible. I mean, look how they massacred my boy, Soundwave!

Whining about Soundwave aside, Starscream looks super cool, and I hope they’ll continue this trend and make more of the Cybertron characters like Soundwave and Shockwave (But still make Breakaway pls).
