So... Anyone keep track of honey many different seekers there were in the BB movie? And if Hasbro is willing, perhaps reuse this mold and so on for all the seekers?

Well, there are probably 100's based on color variation but as for actual different designs, there are 4: the normal Seeker body, Starscream which just sports a unique head, the Conehead body, and Blitzwing.

I suppose. But the thing that sucks is lots of collectors looking to sell, use these exaggerated prices to set the bar for their own prices. For example, you might make a $150 offer on an item that originally sold for $40 but the seller wants $300 because of these a**holes. So they reject your generous offer because of exaggerated prices that have zero merit in the collectors world. Had that happen a few times. They really believe its the value just because a few a**holes are asking something they wont get for the same item.

I'm sure there's several dozen if not more.

    I remember seeing

    Cyan and white
    Purple and white
    Red and white
    Dark blue and white
    Orange and white
    What looked like Thundercracker
    What looked like Skywarp
    A couple of green Coneheads

I can't wait for the Amazon or Target exclusive Thundercracker/Skywarp 2 pack that will sell out in 2 seconds & shoot straight up to $300 on the aftermarket. That shit is becoming to common/normal.

The fact that we got this before any of the Bayverse figures that were listed like Dino feels disingenuous towards the fans who like Bayverse figures and are the reason that Studio Series is where it is today, especially since Dino never got a figure and is long overdue for one. I understand that people love G1, but this feels like going overboard. G1 is the main focus of yet another trilogy, it's also shifted into Studio Series and now even the G1-esque characters that don't need a figure (yet) are being presented before characters who should come first.

This isn't me bitching about not getting more Bayverse toys, since I haven't bought any Transformers figures in years, it's a comment based off of an observation, and an expression of disappointment towards Hasbro when they seemed so enthusiastic to solve the issue of 1) fans not getting certain characters and 2) getting inaccurate characters based off of concept art e.g. how SS Megatron is better than the ROTF figure. There was a time when the fanbase was excited because Hasbro shocked us with Grimlock and Blackout, but now we're barely getting anything because Hasbro is focused so much on only one fraction of a franchise.

It's not just a problem with Transformers, but this happens everywhere. For example, why are all Power Rangers projects based off of Might Morphin' when there are countless other series? Why do companies only make TMNT products based off of the 80s cartoon or 90s movie when there was the 2003 series, 2012 series and recent movies where the only good figures cost £300 per turtle? It's understandable to cater to the majority, that's how a company makes money, but what about the other fans? In the case of Transformers when was the last Studio Series reveal of a non-G1 character that wasn't a Bumblebee retool?

comment of the year in short version not everything needs be generation 1 MOVIES especially , comics , CARTOONS, games, toys
Fans accepted transformers prime, energon cybertron anaimated car robots for character designs that are not g1 in those cartoon series and toys so movies should go same way with how bots look in movies and games

I think that Transformers: Prime was a step in the right direction, it wasn't related to the movies or G1; it was new and no-one complained. We got radically different interpretations of characters again, and it was great. If Hasbro never had the guts to do something different then we never would have gotten such interesting interpretations of Soundwave, Starscream or Arcee - all different from the versions before them.

Why would there be SS Prime figures? There was never a Transformers Prime feature film.

Even with a 5 movie roster, Studio Series has an expiration date.

With the inclusion of the live action Bee movie, and the ‘86 theatrical film, that life expectancy gets extended.

I would have thought people would have liked this; instead I see complaints.
