At least the vehicle mode looks a bit better than what blitzwing\'s does. I don\'t know what the hell they thought they were doing with that god forsakened child from a horrible F-15/F-18 uglinest parent one night stand

I had my hopes up for a Covert Agent: Ravage.

So is this an E-Starscream and G2 Smokescreen thing, or was the info wrong about this being a new mold? Because that really does look like SS Blitzwing

 

Glad I didn't stay up for just this guy, but also happy for those excited for him.

 

And like I predicted, this was the reason Blitzwing wasnt an F-4 Phantom. That weird triangular jet was a pretool for the tetra jet. .

I hope the final figure has more color than this (doubtful) because this looks CHEAP AF. It looks like a $2 chinese knockoff than an official release.

That's what a lot of us thought. But apparently it has no shared parts at all, and looks to have very little shared engineering. So begs the question, if Cybertronian Screamer was gonna be a whole new mold and design all along, why does Blitzwing's jet suck then lmao

 

We're finally getting characters from the Cybertron prologue besides Bee, OP, and CJ? Finally. (Where's my SS Wheeljack, Ratchet, and Ironhide?)

Wait, isn't it public knowledge by now that the Cybertron prologue was made when the Bumblebee movie was in post-production mode, so they had to reuse assets?

 

Shared engineering, all new parts (also the alt mode is entirely different).

 

Looks pretty good. I'll probabaly wait and get Skywarp, I feel he'd absolutely own this mould.

 

at least the Bayverse gets one last hurrah before G1 nostalgia completely envelopes the Studio Series line.

This might have been one of those times when Hasbro being lazy and just doing a straight repaint might have worked better. This jet mode just looks weird and makes the robot mode look odd. I love the Blitzscream mold. I think they'd be better off doing some of the other oddball Seekers and jets that don't already get their normal annual refresh. Orange and black with tiger stripes as Hooligan. A homage to Armada Thrust, even if just in colors. Of course it would also look great in Skywarp colors, but most Seeker molds do.

This? I'll just go back to calling the old one Starscream, since it actually looks more like him than this.

I think it looks pretty neat. I was honestly only expecting a redeco when I first saw the news.

 

I’d get him but being a Thundercracker guy I would love to see this Starscream repainted as TC. Also anyone notice that we are missing SS70 and SS71? Hopefully those two are indeed Thundercracker/Skywarp repaints
