I turned 51 back in February, the big 52 is just around the corner for me.   I was 15 when tfs came out. Was always just fascinated with robots & sci-fi. Plus being a gearhead, they were a match made in heaven for me.  

I don't mind having an extra figure added to the predacon group. If the monkey pants makes him super stable, I don't have an issue with it.

 

i yelled at a kid a few weeks ago to stop screwing with my mailbox.

felt bad about it later. He was just touching and grabbing stuff as he went down the street, not specifically really working my mailbox over or anything.

 

don't worry about it, kids need to learn boundaries. think that's the biggest issue that we are facing now, kids not getting their asses spanked when they did wrong, now they think they can do whatever they want with no culpability.

 

Had 3 kids sitting on my tilt utility trailer a few days ago and I popped my head out the back door and asked if I could help them with something. They replied "no". Lol told them to get. Just don't wanna get sued if someone hurts themselves

At every stage in life you are "prime" for something. At every age there is something to be joyful about. At all times you can find something to look forward to while looking back and being thankful for what's already happened.

Getting older (38 here) does has its drawbacks, but it also has its blessings.

Minor Examples:

1. I can buy toys without worrying so much about the budget
2. I can play with my son and pass on the passion
3. I can help others from what I've learned over the years

If that's too sappy, ignore and carry on. But in my opinion, trying to stay positive helps you navigate the more challenging aspects of getting older. YMMV

Enjoy it while you can. Eventually, your son will decide that you are the enemy and that you've ruined his life. I speak from experience

I don't think so. I've had zero (at 35) and am happy about it.

 

36, and zero plans for children. Actively avoiding that fate actually. It's quite possible to skip the whole marriage and children thing and still live a happy and fulfilling life.

 

You don't need a wife when you can buy a realistic 1:1 scaled sex doll and dress her with a Slave Leia costume.

 

Btw, does anyone know if these 'cons also have alternative limb modes? Wouldn't be that bad to have a cang predaking with a pack of feline predators as limbs...assuming we'll also get an alternative pants mode for razorclaw.

It's kinda my dream to have the chance to get this configuration. I missed my chance with tfc ares because when it came out i didn't have enough money to buy all the bots + 3 more copies of phlogeus, so...

Also, if someone has a tfc phlogeus to sell (or a loose tfc ares hand), i've lost one of my Ares hands (but not the wrist connector), and even if i replaced hands and feet with the PE volcanicus add-ons, the originals are more solid and looks closer to the classic Hasbro version
