Got my DNA kit in for Sentinel/Blackout/Bee. So far I'm impressed. All the Sentinel accessories are awesome. The shield is big and imposing and the blades are nice.



Blackout is in chopper mode at the moment, so I only tried out the vehicle storage, but it works well. Everything tucks in nicely.



And I'm probably not going to use the Bee stuff, it seems like unnecessary filler IMO.

That's why I use Beast Hunters Prowl for my custom classics Barricade. It fits in with g1 look, but retains Barricade's spikiness. And I feel Barricade should be a beefed up police car. Like, you know something is wrong with it by looking at it, but he either doesn't get it or he just doesnt care. Leaning more towards the latter given his motto on the side.

For me it's that his alt mode looks like something that, in an ideal world, should be a comfort and sign of stability, something that's there to protect you, and then it stands up and unfolds and turns into a friggin monster. I mean, the first time we see Barricade transform in the movie, Sam is running up to him and saying, "Officer, thank god you're here!" It's striking and threatening in a way you don't often see in the franchise.

 

Uh....wut? He's the only Constructicon who actually can do what the real vehicle does...even though he is definitely different from the movie in terms of the alt mode... But it's so big and beefy, I love it.

 

Can someone tell me if human alliance Bumblebee scales well with masterpiece figures?

Hell yes. Getting a team together is a grueling process, but when you do finally get all the lads together it’s like an everlasting feeling of awesomeness. you just sleep more soundly at night knowing you got em all. It’s probably just me, but that’s how felt when I finally got all the 07 bots.

My toyworld hong kong police Bee came in today. Really nice figure and I love the blue repaint of him. If you don't equip him with the extra police gear he is just a blue Bee which I really appreciate. Sorry that the photos are sideways. I rotated them both ways but they keep coming out sideways. So screw it, here ya go!






It looks like he comes with a hong kong protester? If so that is pretty messed up. I DO like the gas-mask new head though. The police shield logo is on a sticker so you could take it off for a default riot shield.

If I remember correctly, HA Bumblebee is an inch or two taller than MPM Bumblebee, so probably not a great choice? That being said, I'm biased in favor of MPM-3, one of my favorite Transformers.

 

I know, maybe it's my OCD but I love that we have been able to complete so many teams and subgroups this year.

BUT I also hate this "parts and pieces" mentality of HasTak, spitting figures between online exclusives, store exclusives, store special member exclusives and mass retail releases. I feel like I am being played at times.

Oversized KO MPM Optimus Prime - Lightly Modified

Bigger than the BA OP. Excellent paint, solid alt mode. The only drawback might be the backpack, which is less than screen accurate. Robot mode has "transformed" tires for his hips that you can swap on for accuracy.

You won't regret getting him, he really is a fantastic representation.

 

Exactly. Even for as good as his bot mode looks, it has pretty disappointing articulation, especially in the knees.

Ughhh, and here I am still waiting for BBTS to even ship my Jetwing upgrade kit...
