That's why I'm not ruling out one of the random leaks that sprung up and then just as quickly disappeared among the pile of in-hand figure leaks.

Like, I consider myself pretty tied in to the leaks/rumors/listings that spring up, and some of this stuff fizzles out of the back of my mind until it's specifically brought up again. There's been so much this time that I wouldn't fault anyone for losing track of what's out there.

 

I hope its a grayed out version of Earthrise Starscream and you can take the coronation gear and put it on regular earthrise starscream if you want him alive

 

I would agree with that... as I keep an eye out for leaksfor my news site, but only if they are considered reliable enough to be posted on major news sites... and it still may have shown up somewhere obscure and I didn't see it or considered it reliable at the time to remember it.
So I don't doubt that someone somewhere is going to say after the reveal that it was listed somewhere already... i just haven't seen it yet.

Would it be any help if I said it was a new mold, and being a pre-production figure this character was a real Beast to figure out how to transform it very carefully, as some parts don't move properly.

I'm guessing one of the missing S1 BW Predacons then. Not a Beast Wars fan so don't even know the names, but one was a spider, one was a scorpion and the other was a Pterodactyl.

 

Spider (Tarantulas), ant (Inferno) and pterodactyl (Terrorsaur) are the missing ones, Scorponok is a leaked deluxe

Pretender Beasts? The missing Headmasters?

 

It was Tarantulas (spider), Terrorsaur (pterasaur), and Inferno (fire ant).

Of those, Inferno is the front runner to be a Voyager. Terrorsaur would be likely as well depending on how they approach not only the scale..but the wing transformation.

Tarantulas would almost certainly be a Deluxe.

Also, to go back to my previous post: All three were alledgely part of a briefly discussed "leak" where someone claimed to have seen art of each of them paired off against an Autobot wearing Fossilizer armor.

So the thought, at the time, was there were three packs that featured the missing Predacons similar to how ER Ironhide, Ratchet, and the Coneheads all ended up as exclusives.

They also just hinted it's a Beast. And from everything we've seen of Kingdom, HasTak is purposefully focusing on Maximal/Predacon beast modes and doing all vehicles for Bots/Cons.

The only "Decepticon" that showed up during Beast Wars, at least in the US, was Ravage.

I'm sticking to my Terrorsaur theory given the capital B in Beast.  

 

That seems awfully random to pop in as a brand new mold in the middle of a BW line.
