Looks like today might be the Twitch-pocalypse for WWE people. AJ put out a statement saying he's suspending streaming and doesn't know what the future holds. Cesaro did similar, and did "one last raid". Paige has apparently been crying on her stream, before switching to anger and talking unionization. Mia Yim apparently shut down her stuff too.

So yeah, fun times.

There really is no excuse at this point, they've got enough raw talent there now to get building and there should at least be a title or contender feud all the time on Dynamite even if everything else has to be on Dark until they get more proper TV.

I'm not expecting Stardom or NXT Womens Division because that takes years to build, but they should at least be catching up with Impact.

Matt Riddle is a decent enough name. Nothing you'd ever see main event Wrestlemania or on a marquee, but just Riddle? That's incredibly stupid, and he might just be in for a burial.

We've all seen Vince's penchant for taking the axe to wrestler's names in the past. But in this case, I reckon it's one of his branding things. It's tough to co-opt/own a person's real name. But chop it down to one word and claim it's a character and it likely becomes such good trademarkable shit

 

Cowards, all of them. They should've banded together and told Vince where to shove it.

 

For the Matt Riddle name change, he stated on twitter that it's ok since he does prefer to be called Riddle anyways.

I think the main problem at this point is that AEW's wrestler-driven creative process isn't working for the women because there isn't anyone either at the top table with a personal vested interest in it or anyone in the locker room who is aggro enough to kick the door in and demand more.

They need to put somebody in charge of the division as a whole who has a ton of experience in the western business and isn't already busy with other stuff backstage. Maybe Serena could do that or maybe they can park a truck of money outside of Thunder Rosa's house when her NWA contract actually runs out next year.

 

I’m just catching up on Dynamite from the last 2 weeks. Jericho and MJF was absolute gold, reminded me of Austin and Angle from back in the day.

Agreed on women’s division in AEW - for me they should go with Britt Baker. Gimmick, can wrestle, and has the look. Get a modern day Victoria/Tara vibe from her.

yeah that mox/kingston promo was wonderful. Im expecting eddie to lose, but even as a heel I think he has the better backstory going into this match.

they kenny/hangman match will also be awesome, I think hangman will actually win but omega will get pissed and break him after the match. because hangman cant compete, omega gets the belt match and will win. since they already foreshadowed the injury angle with penta/fenix, I think there is a lot of ground for this to happen and you still protect both chars and build kenny as a mega heel.
