Hey guys, is £30 too much for Animated Arcee? Normally id say so on most deluxes but man ive been trying to get arcee for years and ive never really seen it dip under 30. Certainly never seen it when it was out!

Huh, so just Grimmy then who's not been retooled into anyone?

Thanks, I thought the middle one was Carnage but then saw the swirl on his forehead and wondered if it was Strange or more specifically Brother Voodoo. As for Gwen, probably not. As cool as the symbiote aesthetic is in artwork, not sure I'd want a figure hanging around with it :lol

As for the game, already installed so I might as well play the damn thing! :D  as for size, well it was just over 60gigs as I recall. Fortunately I went for SSD and Harddrive space out the wazoo on this build so it's pretty much a drop in the ocean :lolol

I'd say between it being an older figure and it sounds like it's a character you particular want £30 isn't too bad... I think I paid similar to secure some highly desired TFP figs. As I said to @barry once I think there's a difference between paying over the odds for a much beloved character and just for the sake of completing a collection.
Also, I don't know what the going price for TFA deluxes was at the time but assuming it was £15-20, £30 doesn't seem like too bad a markup IMO.

    Edit:
...ok yes I forgot about them. So it really is just Grimmy then? Huh.

I was sorely tempted by this, but the money instead went to more robots.

I believe she was a TRU exclusive and a little more expensive than normal deluxes as a result, and hard to find when she was released. I'd say that's a fair price for her, especially if it's a figure you've been hunting for years.

Best of luck @robotmel and everyone else affected jobwise by this shitty situation. Missus got furloughed today, chances are the company she works for might be going under based on the current climate but looking for the glimmers of hope. Redundancies, regardless of survival, seem assured so not a great place to be for the team as some of you guys, our friends and familes have experienced.

Caps off a wankfest of a weekend that had some of the toughest and most ill tempered nights at work I can recall and an incident involving a group of 7 lads attacking my kid and her mate on Halloween. She's fine, she kicked the ass of one of them, I got names, went out and found them in the park and yeah, I think dealt with. Pussies.

And speaking with my dad today, my mum is sadly getting worse, which is unfortunately what it is with dementia. Struggling with a lot of foods now, may be something else underlying but getting harder to articulate what's wrong and terrified of going to hospital. We're sorting it. Needless to say I had a couple of scoops this morning. Not proud after such a good run off the sauce but y'know, fuck it.

    Urgh. That was a rant.

Because I am a big silly I have ended up with 2 of these TT Hongli PF-01 Red Falcons. Is anyone interested in one, MISB and still in the packing material for £90?

Honestly I'll take a Venomized Aunt May at this point lol

At least you won't go into the game with raised expectations! Hopefully it'll run better on a PC because of the SSD.

I bought them all separately for way less than what they were charging for that, they're great but there's a reason the line ended early!

Jeez, not good... nothing I or anyone can say can improve things, but feel free to vent here as you need, and fingers crossed for some good (or at least better) news soon.

    All the best.

Putting it in a sealed container with some baking soda should help to reduce the smell.

Commiserations to The Missus, @Napalm, hopefully the food issues aren't a majorly serious underlying issue, speaking as a fellow asthmatic, and IBS-haver to boot, it's pretty amazing (and terrifying) how much stress or anxiety you think you've got a grip on mentally can come out in some physically debilitating form but, seriously, don't be too shy of feeling like a prannock in front of a doctor in person or on Zoom - better that than waiting too long just in case it is something more serious! At the very least some proper mental downtime from that kind of weekend might be a help?
Judging your own health ain't easy, for instance even medical experts will tell you that very serious indigestion is really difficult to tell from a cardiac issue unless the person having the issue is strapped to an EKG or summink! Look after thi'sen so you can still look after others, mate!

Thanks for that, much appreciated. I contacted the seller and fair play to him he’s refunded me 40% of the fee and profusely apologised so he’s done the decent thing.

@Napalm Keep your head up Jon, stay strong for the family. And well done for kicking arse as well. Few lads were knock door running here the other night, on their second run I was waiting and caught the one at the back..... told him what would happen to him if they wake my daughter up, and needless to say it was the last visit to my house.

bah, experiencing my first taste of items not arriving quickly, so far just about everything I have ever ordered turned up on time, but I have a few items that just dont seem to want to materialise for me, I am waiting for the Jacketed MCU Wolverine and the BS Beskar Mando, both of which are proving difficult for the retailers I used to acquire. And a side efect is the the GI Joe Scarlet and MCU ML Black Widow figures are also delayed as they were ordered with the Wolverine.

Today’s arrivals are the last of my eBay purchases for 2020*.
    C00640E2-50A5-4F74-B2E2-D0BC47FD4476.jpeg
Very happy to have picked these up from a quality seller last week.
Topspin is another childhood favourite completed. Not sure why he’s a headmaster other than that being the gimmick for Titans Return.

Takara Kickback is awesome and so much better than the Hasbro one which is now going to be known as clone kickback.
The paint is better, the colour is better that purple is so good. and the face is so much more recognisable as a face.

Also came with tiny Double Dealer headmaster.

*ebay purchase may continue if bargains like this pop up again.
