I cancelled my second order. A simple head swap should be good enough for now. After looking at the legs I'm not sure I want to tackle painting them plus $40 extra dollars when all I need is Prowl is a little much. Hopefully the set I have coming Tuesday is in good shape. If the set goes on sale at some point I may jump on a 2nd set to further customize.

 

It's taken a few hours but I am warming up to this Ironhide. I wish it was a richer, brighter red and less of a milky pink, but he is pretty good. The engineering is an improvement and the van is solid. He is better than my first impression.

Prowl is still absolutely frightening. I transformed him only once. The transparent plastic continues to feel like a fragile flower. I doubt I will ever transform him again lest he shatter. I'm going to skip the Bluestreak now. I'll get the Smokescreen only because I prepaid for him, but I imagine I'll feel the same about him too.

 

Oddly enough I think Smokescreen feels a little better. the paint on the legs makes the plastic less noticeable, at least to me. Like Siege Prowl's legs. The fact that ER Prowl and Bluestreak are exclusives and have LESS paint than smokescreen is the real crime.

The same thing with the knucklehead seekers. Less paint stripe on the wings yet more expensive (harder to find).

Clear/transparent/translucent plastic are the bane of high activity structure. It will sadly eventually break . I HATE IT TOO!  

 

I was in same boat, then got a notification this morning that my set was delayed till December....

Has ANYONE in Canada got their Prowl/Ironhide set?

 

The seeker 2 pack did not carry a higher msrp than the contents of it's box warranted though (at least in the USA), it was priced the same as buying 2 single pack voyagers, and at least for me locally is still showing as available for pickup at multiple targets on the website

 

What with my Coneheads pre-order making it to within 20 minutes of my house before being unexplainedly turned around and sent back, and then other peoples' pre-orders being cancelled, I am starting to worry about my Prowl and Ironhide preorder.

Still saying expected delivery of 11-4, yet it hasn't shipped and I haven't been charged yet.
I seriously hope it's an over reaction on my part, but the recent track record hasn't been good.

Boy, between these issues with Amazon's pre-order system, Walmart's pre-order system, and the fact that Walgreen's told me that my order "shipped" last Wednesday, but FedEx still hasn't even received the pacakage, I'm really glad that Hasbro is finally making the figures that I've always wanted. So that I can get them and then be done with all this bullshit.

 

I think he’s a solid Ironhide. I do agree with some re the color. It’s a bit odd.

 

Sadly, I can't tell if it has been charged or not as I just used a gift card to buy the set.

As of last night it was saying my Ironhide and Prowl would arrive 11/4 and I was holding onto hope that there'd be at least one good thing to distract me from the coming days. Checked again this morning and it's been pushed back to between 11/19 and 12/3 and now I'm fully expecting it to be cancelled. Fucking hell, Hasbro, you really need to work out better distribution.

 

Can those who have gotten delay notices post the date they ordered? Could help others figure out if theirs is going to be delayed too

 

Well, my Prowl/Ironhide set arrived with no shipping box nor bag, the shipping label was slapped right on the product. WTF, does Amazon do this often?

 

But worldwide? With the exception of Mexico (2nd hand info)

 

It honestly seems like luck of the draw. So far the only thing I got that had a label slapped onto it was just Dead Prime. Everything else Ingot from Amazon was either in the Had to shipping container or an Amazon box.
