Id like someone to make an accessory that has the quintessons spark and insides to put inside the cage, so megatron can rip it out ala monstrosity style

 

I was thinking the same thing. I want to get a bunch of these sets to light other things up. Like that big explosion that comes with the Marvel Legends Black Widow.

 

I don\'t think this set is for me, I honestly prefer having it without the lights.

 

Feel like the upgrade is just okay... like LEDs are nice and all, but does it really make sense for them to have their faces glowing in the middle? Glad for anyone who might want this though. A little alarming to see just how thin the plastic is on them with the lights added.
An upgrade I'd really love for the Quintessons would be to have something to lock the "cap" on top and a longer energy beam for them to hover on.

What would be nice if they included an adapter so it could be used to light up the clear base, at least that would be toon accurate.

So, the best case for this upgrade is that you can use it on figures other than the one's it's intended for?

That's a good option, could be used in the barrel of the gun mode as well.

Shame there's nothing small enough to light up the eye as well

I want LED kits for two things:

Quintesson energy bases and a universal gun barrel tip adapter for blast effects. Just silencers that fit on everything that's Siege compatible and that blast effects can plug into. That gets around the corrosive blast effect issue ruining the core toy and gives us glowing gun blasts.

I will say I like the remote idea here though and would like to see it used on the silencer accessory I just pitched.

Five gun barrel tip adapters with some new blast effects and a remote for them. I'd probably get 10 sets. 5 yellow and 5 purple.

 

It would be a much more ambitious project, but seeing how all of the eyes for the faces are on the backing plate, it would be possible to make replacement backs that had LEDs feeding into light-piped eyes. It'd be a pretty cool look, but be much more work and cost than this set, so I won't complain that this set isn't magically something more.

However, I am pretty happy to see this whole "switchless" LED implementation. I hope to see this on more projects where there's no room for a switch.

 

This is a bit strange for an upgrade kit. IIt doesn\'t seem to light their eyes up at all, like the X-Transbots version. I think that other upgrade with the longer beam of light is a much better one.

 

I'm sorry but the advertisement/the lights showing through the faces is just terrible. Absolutely f'n terrible.
