Can I just say the that I thought the CGI on the Krayt Dragon was spectacular!

Disney flexing their bigger budget with this season for sure.

I've noticed it in the character posters for the season.
What smells like a hint of Sabine's inevitable return?

*Haven't seen the episode yet, not afraid of spoilers since my browser's newsfeed already flashed pictures of said armor, new character, etc..*

This sounds like taking the lesson learned from the ending of "The Gunslinger," only without playing up a mystery of "whose boots those were" to throw the audience into a "OHMGBBQWTF! IS THAT WHO I WANT IT TO BE!!!?" since you know who it is this time.

Wow, this ep was really good.
Gotta love the attention to detail, like...
R5, Anakin’s podracer, and one thing I don’t think anyone’s mentioned yet...the Sandpeople only riding single-file, just like Obi-Wan said.

Only thing is, by this point I figured Tatooine would have become a tourist destination, being the childhood home of both Anakin and Luke, two of the most famous people from the Empire era. But, then again, Mando probably wouldn’t have to worry about that way out in East Bumblef*ck, middle of nowhere.

The Krayt Dragon did look great, and we basically got a kaiju movie at the end there. I will say that some of the smaller CGI scenes didn’t look great though. It wasn’t terrible or enough to take me out of the moment like Sharknado, but there were a few instances where it faltered. I’ll cut them slack though because it was probably harder to get that all done in time this year

Yeah I noticed that too, when the Mando was gliding through town on his hover bike.

It can’t all be perfect, but it’s pretty damn great all around.

The CGI environments were pretty bad in this episode, when compared to how great season 1 was throughout. Hopefully it can get back to that level of quality.

I don't think they were bad, they were just more noticeable.
I thought seeing the fett armor was really fun. I presume we'll see, or hear the story of how Boba survived the sarlac, but I'm more curious of is why he gave up his armor.

I noticed the single-file, that was a great touch.

One of the really cool details was that
the Krayt Dragon’s roar seems to be what Obi Wan mimicked in ANH to scare off the Sandpeople.

Isn't it lovely when the people making Star Wars care about things like continuity and the source material?

Definitely looking forward to finding out. I am glad they are incorporating him and defining him vs.Din Djarin. Ever since Lucas butchered him, it’s desperately needed fixing.

Isn't it amazing when storylines aren't as fatally convoluted as Revenge of the Fallen? Refreshing as hell.

Season 1 of this show is in my Top 3 favorite pieces of Star Wars media. I was worried Season 2 wouldn't hold up, but it's off to a great start.

I love how this show does its throwbacks to obscure things in the Star Wars universe. I really enjoy the first episode to season 2.

The Mandalorian shows how to do fan service right. It’s something that the sequel trilogy botched up.

Can't lie, I found this wink to Fett's shitty "hit-n'-malfunction" jet pack pretty hilarious. Almost seems like a retroactive quasi justification to that epic ROTJ fail. ;)

Loved Olyphant in this. Can't wait to hear him talk about it in interviews now - I'm sure he's been buzzing like a kid jacked up on candy that he's not only in the show, but what he got to wear.
