I asked them yesterday and they said there was a delay due to a typhoon in China. But they are expecting him this weekend or the beginning of next week.

Lol, that was the main reason that made me want to have him twice.

Got him today. Do the front headlights move? They are in a triangle positions but they need to be next to eachother in vehicle mode right?

There IS a transformation step going into bot mode that has you raise the two outside ones up a click. I've yet to read any posts of anyone's that actually stay up when you do so.

It's such a small and subtle step, no loss skipping it.

And fyi, it doesn't put them in a "straight line"; it merely raises the two outside ones up a smidge.

I don't bother with that step. They don't end up right in either mode. They don't go low enough for vehicle mode and they don't have a clip in point to keep them raised in bot mode so they just fall down.

so after having ratchet for a day or 2 i can say he is great! transformation is not that hard. still need to do the arms/hands better but they tab in sooo thats good. window falls of very easy so i could glue it or something but not sure if i will do that.

his vehicle mode rolls sooo smooth! its great! and it looks perfect. wish the weapon storage was better but what can you do.

robot is just as good as vehicle mode. and all those ratchets! awesome! glad they didnt do ratchet for 1 of the first figures but later in the line because it really looks like they learned from the first mpm's to get this guy the way he is now.

hope the next mpm will be as good as ratchet or even better.

i used it in store. you have to make a target account then add the offer to your basket. when you go to check out in store tell the casheer and they will give you an option to use your phone number to apply the discount right there in line. got him today for $95 after tax! great figure. had to heat the soft parts cause they were all warped out of box but hes my fave official sofar. 20201106_203108.jpg 20201106_203228.jpg 20201106_204807.jpg 20201106_204826.jpg 20201106_204855.jpg 20201106_204911.jpg 20201106_205303.jpg 20201106_212942.jpg 20201106_213141.jpg 20201106_215850.jpg 20201106_221320.jpg
I was fiddling around with the fenders and I found that to me they look better turned in instead of out plus they don't get in the way of the shoulders anymore 20201106_223831.jpg 20201106_223859.jpg

Dude--THANK YOU for the Voyager-to-MPM comparison shots. Those made me happy. I've known he was taller than the '07 version, but I really wanted to see them next to each other in vehicle mode.

If comparisons had already been posted by someone else, I missed them. So these were the first I'd seen.

Gave that shoulder roof rack tip a try and WOW does it not only make a huge difference, but I’m a little shocked they didn’t use this in the engineering to begin with. Plenty of room in there for the two bar pieces.

Because Ratchet DOES have roof rack lights behind his head. I don't think they would have designed it that way at all if they weren't going for some semblance of screen accuracy.

Definitely a case of “sacrifice for accuracy” wasn’t worth it.
