My coneheads arrived. Shipped double boxed so it definitely seems that they heard the feedback on the way they tried to ship these last time. Neither seem to have any of the defects that have been widely reported in the construction.





And thus I can finally replace my poor 13 year old yellowing Classics Ramjet.  



Hopefully I can get Thrust with less of a headache than it took to get these guys and the Cybertronian villains set.

 

I’ve been religiously refreshing the amazon page in hopes of getting a preorder one or a in stock one. No luck so far.

Actually do the classic seeker missile fit on the earthrise seekers?

 

They should. They have 5mm pegs.

 

That they do and they actually look pretty good on Ramjet, I may even keep em in there.

 

Yeah they do look really good! If I ever manage to get Ramjet/Dirge I might go out and buy the classics ramjet.

 

Anybody interested in the set where Dirge has a not fully molded side tab? (See pics) chest still locks in from the opposite side and it's not that noticeable.

Just in case somebody wants it before I'm sending it back to Amazon for a refund since I got 2 sets.

Nonnef has a nice Conehead weapon set that gives Dirge and Ramjet their classic weapons.

 

How odd, how did that even happen? molding issue? (though I thought those tabs were molded onto the chest)

It looks like not enough material was injected to the mold. You can tell it didn't get snapped off or anything just a nice smooth finish where it should keep going to form the tab. Very strange but luckily the figure is still fully transformable and visually not that obvious what's wrong.

 

Heads up. My prowl/ironhide shipped from Amazon. They are starting to roll out.

 

Just got charged for prowl/ironhide

 

I've been doing that right from the start. It's a no-brainer, the Classic missile launchers were way too big for a deluxe so that means they should be perfect for a voyager.

I got charged for my 3 Allicons but not for Prowl/Ironhide yet.

 

My prowl/Ironhide has shipped. Supposedly will be here Wednesday.

 

Just got charged for Ironhide/Prowl as well. It says preparing to ship with an expected date of November 16th.

 

Charged for Prowl/Ironhide and it scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

 

I still want a G2 Starscream and Ramjet box-set with packaging that looks similar to the original G2 cards.

 

Dirge and Ramjet aren't available from any Asian retailers still, are they? A friend of mine got into Earthrise two months too late, and really wants these.
