I’ve seen BB Bee and Blitzwing in hand, but haven’t had the pleasure of owning any of these Threezero guys for myself. That changes with this guy, just preordered mine! Super excited.

Man, I'm gonna have to get this. Please do more of the Bay figures. ROTF Megatron would make me immensely happy.

Looks pretty cool. I'm all Bumblebee'd out though and won't be picking this up myself. But if they made a TLK Barricade in a similar size, I would definitely consider getting him.

After seeing this, I think TLK bumblebee is my favorite baybee design. It combines his AoE and old aesthetic design, which is really cool.

I forgot how TLK design so blatantly cheats with the chest. The front end halves are smaller than the wheels.

This design really makes me appreciate the first movie and Bumblebee movie designs more, the former for how well it used the car kibble throughout the body to shape the proportions and “musculature” and the latter for how well it took the basic design and distilled it into a cleaner, cuter, more relatable character. Between the excess detail and weird proportions, TLK Bee looks gangly and creepy. His torso is like 30% too small, the the overdone new Camaro just gets lost in all the angles and small parts added onto it, if that makes any sense. The fact that the doors are even distorted means there’s so little car that can be “tracked” between modes unlike that first 07 design, but it doesn’t use that cheating to give a strong silhouette and character like the BB movie design.

Still a big improvement from AOE, though.

I will seriously miss the Bayverse. I recently rewatched AoE and TLK, and still think that they are highly entertaining for the films that they trying to be. While people can praise the G1-inspired Designs we have today, I still love the designs from the prior films.

Even Knight Optimus who is still awesome.

As cool as this is, I might skip it.
I'm tired of all that "yellow".
This makes the 7th Bee release.

    DOTM Bee
    DOTM Bee Exclusive
    TLK Bee
    TLK Bee Exclusive
    DLX BB-Movie Bee
    BB-Movie Bee
    Now DLX TLK Bee

Why not release Ironhide, another Megatron, Shockwave, Lockdown, Blackout, Sentinel, Ratchet, Longhaul, Hound, the list goes on.
I'm tired of all these Bumblebees tbh.

This will be my first Bayverse Bee from them, since my only Premium Scale is TLK OP (and, eventually, Megs). So I’m not fatigued yet, especially since there are only 2 Bees in this scale (which I prefer).

I know this line sells well, I hope that we do eventually get new characters in this scale (that haven’t been done in the Premium scale). I really would love EVERYTHING that you mentioned. If this line was extensive enough, I’d say goodbye to all my Studio Series and MPMs.

You have a point but in order to give us a complete line they have to start from somewhere, right? I think this one is a great start and for someone like me who missed out or couldn't afford the premium scale version, this is very welcome. Even more so with all the improvements this comes with compared to the premium version. The details are sharper and more movie accurate on this one which is very impressive considering the smaller scale plus the diecast and improved quality. Keep in mind that Threezero is still a relatively new company on the market and they are still testing grounds from what it looks like. Don't get me wrong, Ironhide is my favorite and I'd be all in for every other character you listed and more but how else are they going to decide to give us more if this won't sell well? So supporting the cause it's also a plus. I'm not saying that this is the only reason I'm buying the figure. I want this because I genuinely like the design and the quality work they put into these. I think it's a must have in my collection and especially if you're looking to complete the TLK DLX line which is likely to happen with Knight Prime seemingly on its way (hopefully Megatron too and maybe Hot Rod and Hound). Just my 2 cents.

I remember seeing that the CGI designers for the first movie had to run all designs past Hasbro designers so that actual toys could be made from the CGI models. This prevented the CGI designers from "cheating" too much when it came to the Transformers designs and transformations. They also tried to aim for as much realism as possible. After DOTM these ideals must have been thrown out the window for "coolness".

Bumblebee is still the only character they constructed in real life for filming as well, so he's likely to be the most fully realized of all the characters. The cast from the first film have the most real-world consideration with DOTM being the tipping point where everything from there started to become style over realism, and by that I mean although characters look like they could transform it became less plausible, like you said.

I’m tempted to get this guy, but I would’ve preferred the 07 design instead. Hopefully they do that eventually too.
And as others have said, I really hope they do DLX figures of other characters from movies 1-3. If they did DLX 07 Prime and Megatron, and Blackout and Starscream, I’d get those instantly. Really hope they utilize the full potential of this line

I just noticed that his little antennas are facing the wrong way. I hope they fix that with the final product.

Can confirm threezero does have the license for TF07. They have the license for all of the live action films and netflix series.

DLX TLK Bee was actually the first DLX figure to be put into development. We used the first prototype as an example to show Hasbro the scale and level of detail we could achieve with the DLX line

Does this mean we can expect more transformers figures in the DLX scale from the Michael Bay films?

That may be the coolest “behind the scenes” insight that I’ve seen on this website. These figures really are masterpieces. Please, please keep them coming :) .
