My package's tracking # just changed to "export china customs" so hoping they touchdown sometime during the week. Can't imagine these guys would fit in an MS, NA, iF collection. They're a fraction of the NA price so win/win, but I mainly have legends+ (minus minibots, SW and a few iF place holders) and am thinking they'll be bigger than everyone except JB Megs and Cygnus..

A few owner break their parts during transformation. It doesn't seems to be a major problem, its the transformation steps that one used to transform this part

My interpretation after reading that is something like: the JB one transforms differently than NA on that section and some people broke it. the chart shown is the proper way to transform without breaking it. But if you did break it they'll replace it for you.

The way I'm reading that is maybe the plastic isn't as good as NA's? That part of the Samael I have always felt slightly dicey to transform.

The chest of NA is tricky to transform, you can only do it in one way. Once you learn it, it's easy to do, but the first time could be hard to understand the correct angles to flip the pieces. Probably Jinbao has the same transformation but that company uses a very cheap materials on their figures. I had two Optimus and two Megatrons, and that's are my feelings. Cheap knockoff figures with cheap materials.

agreed, i don't think i see any difference than what the original NA seeker/conehead transformation is???

you do have to take some care doing it in the right way and sequence since the chest panel is a little awkward to flip out and around, but if anything, it should be easier with the larger panels on the JB since it's scale is bigger. unless the plastic/tolerance isn't as good as the original NA maybe???

Yeah, that section of the NA Seekers is finicky. You CAN'T pull the two sides apart from the bottom (which seems instinctive) and instead you have to push them inward from the top. It's weird how completely differently the joints work depending on the side from which you try to "activate" them, but once you figure it out it's easy. Seems like the Jinbao ones work the same way, and I could definitely see people breaking them if they tried to pry the panels apart from the bottom (especially if the plastic is... let's say "less robust"...).

It must be that the plastic isn’t as strong as NA. I’ve put quite a bit of pressure on those parts before I figured out the correct way.

I see no problem with the tranformation and have no problem with both Jinbao Primes and Megatron but I do not mess around with them much and they are just for display.
I change the set up pose every now and then and that is it.
So these seekers will be perfect for me.

I don't collect legend figures, so never pay attention to NA seekers.
But now with the OS NA seekers, I wonder if they can be used to replace the classic Deluxe seekers? Are the size same?

Are deluxes 11-12 cm? That should answer your question.

Legends+ wouldn't be a thing if they were interchange with deluxes. We would just call them deluxes if that were the case.

I just measured the deluxe Starscream, yeah, he is about 12 to 13 cm to head.
That mold is kind of dated because articulation is bad, so maybe this will work. I wish there is a side-by-side pic.

Well, I tend to have several display groups. MP scale at one place, CHUG at another place.

Even between CHUG, I have 2 groups because size difference.

For example, Deluxe Seekers' leader is actually WFC Deluxe Megatron (because that's the only good Megatron in Deluxe class in my opinion).

While Voyager Seeker's leader is TFP Megatron, etc, etc.

And for each group, I tend to pick the best mold existing for that character. That's why I always want to find some replacement for Deluxe Seekers.
