Where you manage to snag cerberus from?

 

Robot Kingdom, seemingly it was the last one in stock

 

Lucky you, couldnt seem to find one anywhere even used. I just want to finish the team and display them in bot mode. Seems like combine mode is subpar tho because of cerberus figure too

 

I really appreciated the new head sculpts... though I hate that CW tank mold. Sold off most of the pieces... but now I'm trying to get another copy of that Dezaras for a torso and the ebay listings are ridiculous. 

I have Uranos and Poseidon... and from what I've read Hades is in between...I've been tempted but not convinced.

 

I just finished Victory for the first time, the show was terrible and painful to watch but I loved these guys.

I was happy to find they have 3rd party toys, I'm glad they are old school if they were released in recent years they'd all be boring coloured blocks exactly like the show but here they all look perfect in their updated aesthetic.

 

Ah dammit, I came here hoping to find clues where Cerberus can still be found  

All the others can be found - not even for high prices - and even the upgrade thigh kits seem available, just not the hip-bot to tie it all together...

I wonder if this may be because the combiner was so wobbly and TFC swapped Cerberus for new ones at first, then ran out.. But then where are the old ones? :/

 

Universe is making me jump through hurdles finishing this set.

First Babababobo cancelled my order of Thanatos/Killbison, as he suddenly went from 20 available to gone, after I placed my order

Then I bought Rhadamanthus through aliexpress, they say he's shipped. So while he's presumably on the way, I noticed he is also suddenly gone from every seller that had him in stock too, both on aliexpress and ebay (and pretty much everywhere else).

Seller I regularly use on ebay then had 2 Thanatos back in stock, purchased him. Earlier today they said as they were preparing to ship it, they realized he was broken. They're refunding me.

So now I'm going through Robot Kingdom for Thanatos. They have been a good provider of older figures before, but that does mean higher shipping (uncle billy's still has him too, but they previously did the "order it, oops out of stock" dance with me too).

So hopefully I finally those two on the way. Still need the arms, which presently seem to be in relative good supply (course, now that I said that...).

Guess the big lesson is wait until you can afford the whole set for combiners, especially for older ones.

After two cancelations and watching in dread as he sold out everywhere, Robot Kingdom comes through again.

He's a beefy tank guy, I need a good Brawl, as can imagine them being the loud jerkasses of the Decepticons

I also really like these guys, they're just a fun gimmick

So here's a dumb ol' question from me as I eye this guy, yet again pondering getting him (and probably waiting until a MP version comes out so as to actually pick up the team on the aftermarket)

Anyone got a shot of the components against Earthrise Starscream? Leozack in particular. I'm getting another round of the 'maybe I can let combiners be different sizes' and eyeing PotP Predaking and CW Devy at the same time, alongside the 'maybe I should grab Omega before he becomes even more ridiculously expensive than he is'

Rhadamanthus/Leozack arrived today from a seller off Aliexpress. Has some clever engineering, marred by some annoying clearance issues, so I really don't like transforming much.

But he's definitely a nice looking one (though he comes off more blue under my lights in this pic, he's more greenish blue)



Also had a little nick in his paint, not sure if he came with it or I did that. Not sweating it though


Either way, glad seller of Ali worked out, because he's now part the half of the Hades team that become impossible to find.

The two arms/jets on their way from Babababobo's to finish this set.

 

A lot of people hate this set but shoot I wish TFC reissues this guy, even just a small run.

I really want Trinity Force too. Heard elsewhere on the board doesn't do a lot of reissues.

 

There was a poseidon restock a while back, but at full price  

 

A reissue would be choice!  

 

I see Dreamstar Toys or CangToys (TFC) making a great Liokaiser too.

 

Jet/arms (Hellbat & Guyhawk) have finally reached San Francisco (I'm in New York).

I ordered them back on 11/27 at Baba using that "special" free shipping. Usually try to always use EMS, but I got antsy for finishing the set after the trouble getting Killbison.

 

You and I seem to have very similar tastes in figures. Also, please, my wallet, it hurts...

Meantime, some questions.

Guyhawk/Aiakos came with some replacement parts, presumably for Jallguar's combiner ports . Also some rubber rings. Anyone know what they're for? Do they go in the legs combiner ports?

Also the Combiners hands fold into guns. Anyone know how he holds them?


Not really a question, but more an annoyance. One of the screw hole don't seem to press all the way in on Guyhawk.


EDIT: Figured out the hands, the combiner bar pulls off

EDIT 2: Replaced the combiner ports and placed the rubber rings around them. Not sure if they helped with stabilizing him
