I didn't spot that right away. It's weird to have the nosecone be black in robot mode when it's not like that in alt mode.

I am actually aware of that. What I wasn't certain about was what to what degree they relied on out of company photographers. Hearing that the answer is and has always been "100 percent of the time" is quite disappointing. And yet also sadly unsurprising. Especially since you said its an industry-wide problem. Sigh.

 

I think we should know by now to just wait and see when its actually released. How many photos of optimus were there when he had grey hands and yellow eyes in packaging? Smokescreen with different shoulder guns in box?

 

problem? I wouldn’t say that. You know what will look like. The a few gas shopper isn’t looking at photos online honestly. They don’t cross examine and go into detail in photos like we do. They see the thumbnail on their phone and order it or they see it in a store and buy it. You can’t have a photographer on staff when you won’t have work for them 8 hours a day 5 days a week and you don’t honestly wanna depend on staff members to take the photos. If you did you get the shit quality of photography that is the Bethesda store.

Also, your second post nullifies your own answer. You mentioned the stripes not being in the show yet the turbines too aren't in the show. Two standards?   Izzat posting for the sake of opposing or posting without thinking?  

 

Deco differneces are easier to accomodate than tooling differences, especially when the coneheads already had significant budget allocated to alternate legs/wings/heads. Why change the chestplate when it's 99% there already?

 

forums can be used for a lot of reasons. Complaining about a toy I guess is one thing though it doesn’t do anything but make you sound an entitled adult who plays with toys. I choose to not complain about them.

also my point is ones a molding detail that accommodates a blast effect. Ya know, one of the gimmicks in the line and another is just a paint deco option. They chose to go with a cartoon layout as close as possible instead of a toy deco.
