A few months might mean March at the earliest.

it's the same seller as before again so not another seller

    quoted from that link

"one of my favorite seller have announce again about stop carry ft product anymore."

for whatever reason there is a bit of stirring going on from this stores owner , i'm thinking there's been a falling out between this person and ft

What he said. COVID has been wreaking havoc with the supply chain. It's a wonder Fans Toys has been able to release as many figures as they have.

The factories that Fans Toys uses are probably busy producing whatever their main business normally produces.

It's also possible that the results of next Tuesday may play a part in what happens with 3rd party figures. One of the candidates is significantly less China friendly than the other.

Here’s the translated version, looks like they are worried about copyright issues?

God that reads like some of the spam I get on my business e-mail where they just slapped together 500 words from all over the dictionary and pretended it came from Chevrolet Pizza Computers.

A Chinese seller more worried than a North American seller about copyright issues.

    Ok.

Well what do you expect? Google Translate, etc were developed by people who speak English only. No problems, right?

Right. Just wondering who you think will win the upcoming election, Reagan's vice president or that guy with the female running mate?

Joke aside, they seem to handle European languages relatively well. It's the character-based stuff from Asia that turns out crazy. I would have expected languages with thousands of characters, versus 26 letters, to be _easier_ to translate.

Most likely TransFans couldn't commit to purchasing as many cases as FT requires, the next price increase we'll see in 2021, and with the delays they just decided to sit it out and add to the drama.

I really need to see a big retailer backing out to take this serious.

Well English is also a European language ;)  To be more precise, English is a "Germanic language" (see Wikipedia for more information). I think Mandarin is hard to translate. There's no space between words, there's no past tense, and it's an idiom heavy language. What happens if there isn't a similar idiom or two in English or any other target language.

English is for the most part based on the romance languages and whatever German is.

Copyright issues from Hastek are a real possiblity, but it just doesn't make sense to me that Hastek would only go after FT with no US retailers having been contacted or Hastek would still allow Maketoys to re-release Meteor in January which will be in direct competition with Starstream 2.0.

Seems to me it would be a lot easier for Hasbro to quash sales of 3rd party products by leaning on domestic retailers by telling them if they carried 3rd party product than Hasbro wouldn't ship them product.
