What he said. COVID has been wreaking havoc with the supply chain. It's a wonder Fans Toys has been able to release as many figures as they have.

The factories that Fans Toys uses are probably busy producing whatever their main business normally produces.

Well English is also a European language   To be more precise, English is a "Germanic language" (see Wikipedia for more information). I think Mandarin is hard to translate. There's no space between words, there's no past tense, and it's an idiom heavy language. What happens if there isn't a similar idiom or two in English or any other target language.

 

English is for the most part based on the romance languages and whatever German is.

Seems to me it would be a lot easier for Hasbro to quash sales of 3rd party products by leaning on domestic retailers by telling them if they carried 3rd party product than Hasbro wouldn't ship them product.
