I agree with your point BUT... XTB did just release a whole run of Andras and Swarm figures with half painted/over painted wings that they're now having to replace for people, and there's no way they didn't know about it before releasing them. As much as I root for them, XTB are their own worst enemy at times. Hopefully the repeated trailer delays are to avoid exactly this scenario like you say though.

 

A. XTB hasn't stopped either. They've put out 4 Junkions, Andras and Hoist. That's 6 releases. Not exciting but they also haven't stopped. MMC definitely had a slowdown this year and Dalianjj just stated that Fanstoys actually has stopped. All projects are on indefinite hold. The reason hasn't been announced.

B. -Spoken like someone who hasn't had any kids. The little buggers take over your life in ways you can't understand until you're in the thick of it. If you'rea good, involved parent. And that's if everything goes well and everyone comes out healthy. That's not always the case.

C. Producing something like this takes attention. Attention that is being paid as we can see by their desire to put out a quality product by redesigning the trailer. Which is a triplechanger that needs to support the weight of five other bots strapped to it. I don't want this thing slapped together and shipped haphazardly like an Omnigonix Spinout. I want a quality release.

And yeah, I would have loved to have had my Menasor sitting all put together and nice on my shelf for the last 6 months. That would have been great. But what I want more is a Menasor that is well made and will last. @ibot is making sure that happens. They are doing their best for a quality release.

And what has been the single biggest complaint about KFC/XTB in the past? Their QC. So, here they are trying to up their game and all they get for is bitching. And I recognize some of the same people in this thread who have bitched and moaned about their quality in the past now doing the same about them trying to be better. Make up your damn minds, you can't have it both ways.

mmc have been quite active they put out all the combaticons can't remember if they put anything else out? all in i think we have been quite spoilt with releases considering whats going on in the world there's been fucking loads released between all companies

exactly what i though when i read his post spoken like someone who has never had children , anyone who is a parent knows full well how much that can take over the mum and dads life , it can be hard but rewarding work   "that kid" and "hes had about a year raising the kid" did make me laugh  

 

Yup. My response was written during morning distance learning kindergarten break after my 5 year old was simultaneously claiming that she hated school while actively enjoying it. Kids are nuts man and I have so much more respect for my parents for not murdering me and dumping the body in the nearby rock quarry.

Yeah except those are more like remoulds and rerelease of existing figures. MMC had a slowdown? Does not feel like it. They released 2 NEW Combaticons members, 2 NEW DJD members (the big ones with big part counts). And they still have 2 NEW Reformatted figures coming out later this year. Of course they also released and are releasing a couple of remoulds and reissues, but all in all we are looking at 10 plus figures this year.
