That's how I am. The only way I could see it happening is if Toei told Hasbro they will be ending Super Sentai with the 45th anniversary.

 

Buy the SoC. It's pretty much the same toy and is compatible with both.

 

I still hope they reveal the Lightning Collection Monsters.

 

THIS. There are nearly 3 decades of US PR shows and characters that Hssbro has the rights to. Some of the more popular US Power Rangers teams were from earlier in the show's history or the ones with a good story + concept, like Time Force. You could do a reboot that retells those stories "better" or try for a connected universe where all those teams' histories flow into each other (kind of like how MMPR became Zeo, which became Turbo, which became Space).

Plus Hasbro's toy line has seen some of its highest demand characters be originals from the Boom Comics, like Drakkon and the Ranger Slayer. The comics just worked their way up to Thunder Zords, while adding new shit, like Zedds monster rangers and their terror zords or the Jason, Zack, Trini "Omega Rangers."

Hasbro could get by another 30 + years with just reboots of preexisting stories. Why bother licensing more, unless a new series has a really great design or premise?

 

It really comes down to what fans want. Do they want new material or recycled old ideas?

If fans really just want to relive the glory days of Zordon era Power Rangers, why should Hasbro invest in world building the latest Super Sentai show for the States? Put all the moneys into a MMPR revival and get it right rather than split the franchise into old and new.

That said, I REALLY want Hasbro to unlock its grip on all the Super Sentai shows that haven't aired here for subbing. GoRenger through Fiveman, ToQger, Zyuhoger, Kyuranger, Lupin/Patranger and Kiramager deserve Stateside releases, especially if they're all but kicking those shows to the curb.

 

Got Zeo Red and In Space Yellow. The Tommy head really looks a lot more like his brother David than it does Tommy. Something I honestly don’t mind. If I could find a decent body for that head it’d be great. The Ashley head on the other hand doesn’t look that much better than the promo picks.

Still waiting on MMPR Black. Wonder if it will even get shipped.

 

Was able to use the 25% off coupon from Target on the preorder for MMPR Green. He was at $19.99, too, instead of the $22.99 he's going for other places.

I missed all 3 in their original release, so I feel your pain. Either way, this was something I wanted to get since 1995.

 

Is Pulse asleep at the wheel or what? I just got an e-mail saying they couldn't ship my Lord Darkkon Evo III product at this time and so am refunding the money, then proceeded to give me a code for a percentage off my next purchase. And also something about it being listed again for a March 2021 Pre-Order.

I already received that product a week ago now. I mean, so if they reverse the charge doesn't that mean I got the product for free? That ain't right. Who do I contact to get them to not do that??? And did they perhaps mean a different Pulsecon Exclusive when they sent me that e-mail, like one I haven't been charged for yet?

@Scrapper6 I get not feeling right about that. I'd just recommend reaching out via chat on Pulse; I'm pretty sure they've reenabled that. Best case they let it go as their mistake and give you a clear conscious heh. Do you have other exclusives not charged or shipped yet it could've been mixed up for though?

 

I hope not. I just got an e-mail about Quintesson Pit of Judgement and I told them I fixed the payment issue so please charge me for it. And the other two items slated for October were the Pulse Armorer and Logan Movie two-pack. Both of which I haven't been charged for yet, so I hope I don't have to deal with any shit from that.

Considering I e-mailed customer service last week and then suddenly they shipped out both Louis Tully and Drakkon I just assumed they'd reacted to my e-mail without sending me a response. And somebody forgot to update the account.

They better not screw up any of my other orders. I would hate to have to try and figure out which one was the problem.

not sure why Pulse has been double shipping items to apparently a lot of people...definitely not me and I place a ton of orders with them...the only issue I have had is a Black MMPR that fedex said was delivered but was in fact not...they are going to send me a replacement and it isn't really their fault as fedex is apparently at fault but sure I would take extra figures if they sent them...

Bandai America? Yeah they lost the PR license to Hasbro.

Bandai Japan still makes Super Sentai though.

 

Thanks bud, I went ahead and cancelled the 10-year long preorder I had with BBTS.  

 

So there are new pictures out for the monsters and two packs. They mostly look cool. They didn't paint the black on King Sphinx's nose or in his mouth, so he looks weird to me. Pumpkin Rapper looks cool as does Andros. Astronema is going to be great, buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut, her armor doesn't appear to come off and she isn't going to include any alternate heads or hair, just the blue one. That's kind of lame. She should have at least come with the purple color since that was her main hair color.

 

Anyone theorycrafting what the PR fan first friday stream will bring us? I know US Ryusoulger, but wondering what all they plan to do for it.
