Wasn’t Shrapnel being pushed as one of the choices in the ‘Vs’ fan vote? Him and Needlenose are the only two left from that list to not have a toy either already done or on the way, so SS Insecticons would make sense.

I also hope if they come together as a box set that they make an Autobot one with Brawn, Windcharger, and Gears.

Gears does appear in a blink and you’ll miss it cameo at the start of the movie on moonbase 1. he was also in the credits due to having an unused line of a dialogue that implies Devastator killed him.

Okay, since this thread has not produced a list (at least that I have seen, if it has I apologize), I would ask we do a list of known upcoming SS86, heavily rumored or officially announced. I have not seen it in other threads either but I also do not like looking through hundreds of posts  .

 

Wave 1:

Voyager - Hot Rod, Scourge
Leader - Grimlock

Unannounced but heavily rumored:
Deluxe - Gnaw
Voyager - Wreckgar,
Leader - Slag, Coronation Starscream

The rest of the cast is in Kingdom (Rodimus, Magnus, Galvatron, Cyclonus) or has already been released (Arcee, Springer).

And I think that’s all. Anyone feel free to add on if I missed or incorrectly stated something.

 

So I’m seriously thinking of doing a custom fang and caveman from primal with grimlock and wheelie.

 

One of the leakers also mentioned a clean Springer rerelease (possibly Selects) and I believe Apollux said that Coronation Starscream is most likely a partial of the Earthrise mold

 

Coronation Starscream is a leader class figure.

 

A nice pack in to the coronation set would be a few of those trumpets!

Cool, your sources have any comment on if it's an Earthrise Starscream partial or not? I believe Apollux seemed to indicate that his information said it was, and it would go a long way towards putting to rest if Hasbro sees the WFC molds as good enough for SS86 or not
