My photos of this guy keep on turning out pinkish. I've messed with the white balance, played around with it in manual mode and gotten no luck. Is there a secret trick to photographing red, or is my camera just old and busted?

 

Can anyone tell me what is the one I circled in red? Long sword handle?

Also, is the gun wrapped inside the baggie in packaging?

 

That is the sword handle indeed. I honestly forget how the rifle was packaged exactly. MMC usually uses multi pocket baggies that are wrapped up for shipping though.
