Got the new two-pack! That was a pleasant surprise!

 

That was a quick price drop. I just checked mine and it still shows $19.99. I noticed Smokescreen also dropped for a bit but my pre-order price never automatically updated. I would re-order but it looks like the Amazon sold Sunstreakers are out again. But I'm not crying over $2 since I was able to secure one online for MSRP and free Amazon shipping.

That new pack was a nice surprise and I'm glad that those that missed P/CP will get another shot because he really is a fun figure. I think I'm going to pass on the set though. Honestly, I like the look of Siege Barricade better and it offers some distinction between him and the original 3 Datsuns. I just need to get that Earth style Reprolabel sheet for him.

 

Got Sunstreaker in 17.88!

Had A LOT OF time hunting him, never expected got him in less than retail! Plus got the 2 pack, this was a good hunting day.

 

I have no interest in the Barricade at all but I went ahead and locked in a pre-order. So if there's anyone that wants Barricade and not C/CP I'll probably have one for you in a few months.

 

I may take you up on that offer.

 

I'm the opposite, just keeping Barricade so I'll have a P/CP available for anyone who wants him!

 

The other two Core figures are listed as out of stock and don't have shipping dates on their pages, but their original March 1 release is still on my order. Maybe an error in or maybe a case of Core Optimus is arriving sooner than expected. Guess we'll see over the next two weeks.

Snagged a Sunstreaker, have him also preordered on Pulse but I like to have dueling preorders so i can cancel one when the other ships... plus I've gotten burned with delays and cancels this year.

Threw on some Dial soap purely to get the free shipping.

 

I am unsure what people mean by core Optimus ?

It is a new small Optimus. He actually looks good for what it is.

 

The smaller sized one, at the $10 price point. Rattrap is the same size class.

 

Damn, I keep missing Sunstreaker! He's available for $19.99 but it looks like I have to just pay for him now, like he isn't a pre-order? And that shit sucks, so I'm just gonna wait for Pulse or BBTS to cough him up.

 

It's not a preorder in the sense that yes, you are paying for him now, while you do have to wait till mid november for him. That said, most places have him listed as coming in earliest on November 1st AND there is always the chance that he'll come early... for example, I did the same thing with Trailbreaker and he shifted in one day from Dec 1 for Nov 5th.

It's true, but in my experience it's been more of a pain to cancel those if it gets delayed or one of my other two pre-orders get him first, so I ma just sit this one out and wait for someone else to cough him up.

 

I've never had an issue with getting something canceled on Amazon. And if it does cause problems I'll simply return Sunstreaker via Kohl's

 

The two Sunstreakers I ordered yesterday during the brief 17.88 window, which I specifically had selected "delayed shipping for $1 digital store credit," shipped early this morning with an ETA of tomorrow. They were supposed to be a backup for my Target order but ok...

I don't know why but lately Amazon won't let me return anything to Kohl's, even though I have 2 nearby where I've done returns many times. Both Kohl's are open too. But it's just... not even an option from the Amazon return options. In fact, MOST of the time the only "free" option is to go to one of two Amazon Dropoff locations which aren't even close to me, so I usually have to contact CS to special request a UPS pick up (which they will do, for free, but having to ask every time is getting annoying). You would think, with everything going on, that they would want to make returns EASIER on the customer. Not so for me at least.
