I think most people gave up on this, so there's not much way of knowing. Personally I'd like to get hold of a V2 at some point.

Is there a third batch? Show Z only just received their 2nd batch a couple weeks ago. Still waiting for mine to arrive.

Ha, my goal is simply to successfully transition it from the packaging to the display without anything snapping off. If I can manage that I’ll be happy.

If any disgruntled employees of the company that makes this are reading this, could you give me the address of their offices? Thanks (if it's in the GuangZhou/ShenZhen area).

Just transformed my SS Shockwave for maybe the second time today for sales photos, and I forgot how much of a garbage pile his tank mode is. If I do ever get this oversized version, it'll be staying in bot mode.

No. Only everyone else is allowed to do that.

Also, blue text = sarcasm. It’s good to learn that lesson early on around here.
    Welcome aboard and upload away.

Looks like I dodged a bullet, but I'd still be interested if an improved version comes out. For the most part I think I'm sticking with the 07 movie characters only, but I like that Shockwave design a lot.

what batteries does it use? is there any review video mention it? most of them don't bother to find out since usually, it comes with the batteries.

Well, it’s been about two months since I contacted my seller about getting replacement parts for the sheared shoulder, and I think I’m going to have to call it. Sucks, this was the one OSKO I really was looking forward towards.

I just received mine from TerryTFsClub. It arrived in about 2 weeks in great condition. Upon request, Terry removed the legs prior to shipment because I was worried about the legs breaking off in transit. The Version 2 hip joint parts were already installed, but Terry also included the Version 1 hip joint parts.

Initially, the head fit in its socket very loosely. There was a gap in the seam between the two plastic halves that make up the socket. I could not close the gap by squeezing the pieces because the adhesive-backed rubber friction patch was wedged between. So, I completely disassembled the head, repositioned the rubber, and reassembled. The head is perfect now.

I am surprised by how many pieces make up the head, but disassembly is very intuitive once you try. The least intuitive part is the first step, removing the horns on the sides of the head. They have a tiny amount of glue on them (or maybe it was just fused with MEK if it's ABS plastic), but clearly, the manufacturer didn't go crazy with glue on purpose and wanted everything to be serviceable. The rest of the head pieces are held together by friction and/or screws.

After first attaching the legs, the figure was incredibly floppy. However, the trick that fury413 recommended in post 828 on page 42 of this thread worked great. In addition to lengthening the springs in the hips, I lengthened the spring in the right shoulder so Shockwave now has the strength to hold up that blaster. To get to the shoulder spring, you have to remove the three screws shown in the inner shoulder photos on eVac Z's post, 834, on page 42 of this thread.

that's a good fix. Since you have the replacement parts to fix this, what do you think the issue was? is the screw way too short? do the replacement parts have any improvement from the broken ones?
