Seeing how Earthrise Barricade transforms, I'm actually even more interested in the mold, but I think my enthusiasm truly lies with Bluestreak, not the bad cop. The more I see this figure, the more I hate the lavender and feel the rest of the deco is sorely lacking in detail. And that face, I'm sorry, is Smokescreen and only Smokescreen. I can't see anything else. They could have kept the overall mold, given it the Evergreen paint scheme and Crosshairs's face sculpt, and I'd have been fine with it.

Bluestreak, though, will be a must-have.

 

It's a weird pale lavender too, and its ugly in general, not even just here on Barricade. Where the hell did this color even come from?

 

I guess they just took liberty from Guidi's art, which does show a lighter purple on the limbs. However, I interpret this as more of a silvery purple than the lilac color used on the figure.

 

It would've been nice if the bars on the movie Barricade were on the front of this mode. To add a little more distinguishing characteristic from the other 3 "Datsun" brothers.

 

yeah I see a dark purple for the biceps hands, and straight up silver for the thighs. the abdomen can admittedly go either way, but to interpreted this in plastic i would just pick one or the other, not a weird mixture of both.

 

I'd like to know this as well. I want to get a 2nd P/CP to go with my PotP and need to know if I can wait for the rumored Headmaster reissue or if this is where he got moved to.

I don't suppose someone on Shapeways made a replacement head for Earthrise Prowl? I see a few alternate Prowl heads there, but they're for Combiner Wars Prowl, which I doubt fit on the WfC toys...

 

Okay, interesting. I guess @Pixelmaster pulled back on his information from Galactic Odyssey too quickly because here's Netflix Barricade with a repaint of Punch/Counterpunch (though as himself and not what people were speculating). I'm guessing they were both moved from their originally intended lines as I don't see Hasbro reissuing Punch/Counterpunch in the Wal-Mart Headmasters line next year if he's part of this set either. Now I want to know if wave 2 of Headmasters will just be Highbrow, Skullcruncher, and Weirdwolf or if there will indeed be a fourth figure in the wave.
