Yeah. I wish they hadn't retained the combining feature for this figure. Might have resulted in less panel-lines.

 

Transformers have always had a consistent scale before this! How dare they!  

 

Cool alt-mode but corners were cut on the bot mode to support the combined mode with Optimus. Wonder if they are going to make the chick submarine from The Last Knight to go with it.

 

Jetfire doesn\'t pull this off. 

 

I've been waiting for a high quality Blackbird that doesn't transform into that shitty Jetfire robot from the movie. Maybe this will bring that closer?

 

I’m not much of a 3P buyer, but that’s cool as hell, AND still combines with SS Optimus Prime! Very tempted. If the price isn’t too ridiculous I might bite.

Give me a second. A toyworld deluxe is 60 to 70. And this guy looks pretty large. So how much do you think this'll cost?

 

Most importantly, can anyone identify what ship this is emulating? The closest I can pick out (curved prow, two deck cannons fore and rear, two square stacks) are prototype H class German Destroyers that never actually ended up being built.



EDIT: It's looking like the "squared off" chimneys were more of a british ship feature? So maybe I'm looking at the wrong country entirely.

 

There are currently 2 gents in this thread going back and forth on what ship it is. I'm personally sitting back and watching that unfold.

 

I doubt we'll see this for anything below 150.
