Considering Rung is apparently a tall deluxe, he’ll fit in with those fine

Never thought of this before but it would be awesome to get them. Unfortunately i don't think we've seen any of their alt modes other than Rung.

Now that MMC appears to be creating IDW faithful figures, rather than loose adaptations, I wonder if they might give Cyclonus another go. Their first attempt strayed far too much from the art for me, and while I found the Quietus with the IDW options acceptable, I didn’t feel that figure justified its price.

As someone whose collection is about 85% CHUG/Reformatted scale, I can attest that MakeToys Trashtalk is a great (near perfect) stand-in if you can find him.

However, MT figures are shorter and don’t scale as well with Reformatted - especially since the Reformatted Motif/Rewind will be taller than the MT Swerve and Tailgate.

not a problem :)  pretty sure that's where I got my 2 pack from, I had been looking for a decent gears for awhile and was more willing to pay for the 2 pack than pay $60 on ebay for the hasbro legends haha

Seconded. Those two were some of if not my first 3P purchases and I couldn't be happier. Except for when Swerve's hands and Tailgate's feet don't randomly start flopping around. :lol

Though considering that they actually are out of scale, add on another reason for me to get some customs done to try to make these two fuckers, but as perfect as can be, haha.

I hope so. The old deluxe is cool and has the upgrade kit, but is too short. Kingdom one looks cool but isn’t IDW. And like you said with Quietus, doesn’t evoke the design enough even with the IDW parts. We need a nice, large, legit IDW Cyclonus

Aren’t Swerve and Tailgate the same size as Rewind in canon? Can’t remember off the top of my head

Rewind looks to be a full head shorter, but I think it was in the Mnemo thread that LazyAza specifically said the MT figures aren't to scale.

Can I just say that this reveal makes me really happy about all the times I looked at the sad little WFC Rung on the shelves, heard a voice in me say, "But it's a Rung toy, come on," and replied, "Not today, Satan."

Great work, MMC. Keep making these IDW figures, and I'll keep buying 'em.

The way I see it, I can now have an MMC Rung on the shelf in bot mode, and then I can have MMC Mnemo wielding Siege Rung a la this cover:

That's basically the same for me, except switch out WFC Rung for that one Rung someone made on Shapeways, haha.

Definitely glad I waited, myself. This Rung, to me at least, looks like a PERFECT release. All those extra faces make him worth it alone. It's like MMC knows me, haha.

What are the chances that MMC makes a fixed posed alt-mode Rung like they did with Vos so that characters can more readily wield him?

I guess it would definitely be in the realm of possibility, though I personally wouldn't expect it sooner than later. I'd say we'll maybe see something around a year after Rung is announced?

I personally would love to see it so I can have Swerve beat people to death with it.
