well well well. here we are. the end of the road. i’ll just be honest: Siege is freaking awesome. plain in simple. this has been an awesome collecting journey, both seeing new reveals as they came out, as well as playing catch up well into Earthrise.

i hated it at first, funnily enough. the battle damage, cheesy alt modes, and G1 obsession - they all bugged the shit out of me to be frank.
but god did it grow on me. never had we had a line so dedicated to appeasing us collectors - articulation leagues above Prime Wars, filling out our collections with cool characters and definitive versions of other guys, and EFFECT PARTS(!!!!!!) are all things that make me, and i’m assuming the rest of you, really happy. it’s sad to see my personal journey with the line come to an end with the final-and-long-overdue purchase of Impactor (thanks @Maximus Danz !), but Earthrise has been a killer sequel so far (even if i still think Siege is a tad bit better). i haven’t had this kind of enthusiasm for a line since Titans Return, and i’m so very thankful to be of the right age, financial situation, and just general time to be able to collect such a cool line, and be in the community during it. here’s to many more years, conversations, and awesome toys!

In hand how does Hotlink look when compared with the other Siege Seekers? I've seen reviews where it looks great and some where it just doesn't match the rest of the gang with the slathering paint job making it stick out. Thoughts?

I think he looks great. Particularly I think he looks like he fits in with Redwing.

 

Who I will be ordering thanks to the reissue   In hand for Hotlink do you see him more as purple/black or black/purple?

 

It’s a bit noticeable, but I think his face not being silver also helps him fit with Redwing.

I really need that rainmakers set. Hopefully when the TT Mall reissues start showing up at other sellers I'll get my chance.
