I dont recall a set if 5 with all the colors of constructo cores ever being sold before

i remember only one being blind bagged with each if the constructo bodies

 

So how do you actually get Kar Krash? The A3U page mentions a minimum amount needing to be ordered for them to produce it, how do I know if they are close to that amount or not?

 

If it's anything like the original, just wait 3 years or so and pick the whole set up used for like $150... Think that's all I got for mine when I sold it.

 

I just tried their "alternate configuration" with my standard colors set----and I don't think it's a "real" transformation. You can't connect the legs to the "skeleton". At all. There's not even any peg-holes to do so when the leg bots are like this. I think they are literally just "sitting on top of the feet" in that pic. It looks cool, and you COULD display it like that in some poses---but the legs aren't attached to the body, and that's a deal-killer for me.

I really wish this "worked" as I like the look a lot.

I think the people behind FPJ are still around, they are just working on other projects. So if they want to make a repaint, they can still do it.

 

That sucks. I doubt they'll reissue the new leg-bot molds in the original colors. But I'd buy them.

Anyone have pics of the changed molding? Wonder if they'd be willing to produce just the needed "new" bits. Don't need the other 90% of the figure.

4th party option? Chest-post upgrades for the original leg-bots?

 

So I emailed A3U for an update about this weeks ago and just got a reply

they said this is still coming, in progress. Box are almost done, to be shown soon.

 

It was originally supposed to ship back in December, but they told me it got pushed back to March. Which obviously has come and gone.
This has been a hard one to wait for. I know they are stoneage, but I love old-school Fansproject/Maketoys. I know it will never happen, but I wish they would revive this line and make more figures. A proper Bruticus would be so awesome (since they did 2/5 of him anyway).

 

This designer makes my fav combiners. I would get all of them at this scale and style

Wow, exactly 2 years after preorders went up we are finally seeing signs of production. Curious about the packaging; probably not a box though (which is what I would have liked).

Love the G2 colours. I’d get into this set if the other 4 cars were available anywhere.
