Haven't transformed mine yet but I'm already smitten.

The colors are way more pleasant than the promo photos looked.

One question though: Did anyone else's come with a layer of dust over it? I opened the clamshell and was genuinely surprised at how much dust was on this guy. You can still see quite a bit of it over the left wing.

 

He must have beaten the dust out of Clayface  

 

I was thinking it was leftover particles from flying through all the fog machines scattered around Gotham.

Also, am I the only one reminded of Batman Forever's Bat Plane boat thing when looking at this guy? Really hits me in the nostalgia.

 

Got this guy cause I thought he could pass as onyx primal but once I had him in hand batman was all I saw.
Took a quick picture of him and while I was 50/50 on it before, I am now completely in on keeping it.

Nova Prime's gun kinda looks like a grappling gun with this guy holding it

yeah, this ones gonna be sitting on my favorites shelf for a while. Cant wait to get it in hand!

 

Still waiting for mine to be shipped from A3U...initially I was gonna pass...but I had to get him because of the regrets I had on others I passed. And I love this mold.

 

The grey really helps break up the color palette. This is a really fun recolor.

 

I will if no one beats me to it. Can’t wait to get him in hand!

 

Well friends... I have been a victim of seemingly one-off QC issues -
The tab holding the front halves together was broken off in the wrong half, and the tabs that plug into the back of the legs have weird deformations and stress marks. I was able to glue the broken piece back on with Tamiya Cement, but the stress marks are more concerning.

Edit: Realized there is also a stress mark on one hand. Bummer.
Edit 2x: I emailed @ToyDojo about it, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Thanks guys! I'm hoping we can figure something out, maybe even just replacing parts - All 3 parts that aren't the hand are mounted on ball joints and could be replaced, but we'll have to see - I've never dealt with replacing parts on a convention limited piece like this, let alone one that's already completely sold out. He is certainly gorgeous though, and extremely fun to handle - The joint tolerances are practically perfect with the only downside being that a few things are just a little too tight.

 

267.62 and it's still not over.

Insane.

 

Especially since there's another one that's BIN for $225
