Can someone post a link to the video demonstrating the supposed knee fix on this new "toon" version (and toon Swarm/Sweeps)?

 

In the meantime just pretend he's sporting the Hulk Hogan look.  

 

He actually looks pretty dope with that horseshoe moustache. If I had the Swarm set and one looked like that I wouldn't mind at all.  

 

There's something about XTB/KFC and beards. I remember a few folks had issues with their KFC Wreck Gar beard coming off.

 

There's no knee fix, just a tweak to the foot transformation.

1. I highly recommend painting his eyes. Makes a WORLD of difference in my opinion.

2. I’d like to second what @blake posted regarding shaving down the back side of the chin/beard and cutting down the part of the neck in front of the neck hinge. It’s easy, causes no cosmetic issues, and results in the head sitting totally flush in alt mode.

3. Once you figure out the correct heel orientation (see Paik’s review), transformation is a total breeze.

Agreed. Painting his eyes red is way better than light up eyes in my mind.

 

Agreed. Plus with aluminum foil trick the LED eyes still shine bright even through the paint.

 

That would be the one. I can't see how this would be bad, except I guess maybe needing a spudger to pull out the front of the foot from its collapsed position. Won't be able to truly judge tho until I get it in hand.

 

Oh yeah, just got mine painted too, much better. I had it metallic but thought it was still dark. I probably just didn’t push the eyes in far enough though. I redid the eyes in normal red but the light on top is metallic red.

 

Finally transformed this guy and he’s really nice, I love that he has the little chest cavity for the matrix, XTB is great with weird accessories.

 

So aside the accessories the only difference between all 4 of them is the face sculpt?

The little blue square that came in the bag with the gun. Is it a broken piece? What is it?

The purple piece is an attachment for another figure, though I forget which...

 

It’s an attachment to let him hold their version of Megatron’s mace I think. And yeah I think you should have 2 red dots!

 

That little blue square is an adapter for the mace that comes with XTB's Apollyon (XTB G1 Megatron).
Rather odd though, does Scourge ever hold Megatron's mace in the cartoon?

 

Not to my knowledge. He doesn't in any of the comics that I know of either. Just something they wanted to do to promote/work along side one of there other figures I think. It's an odd option, but I appreciate the effort.
