    This. A million times this.

Awwww come on now, that's like kicking a blind puppy.
I say that actually being quite a fan of chunky Rodney.

Couldn't resist a wee re-do of Halloween scorponok amongst the gravestones.

Fun story, the stormy weather on Friday night say all our outdoor Halloween decorations take a trip across along our street. One neighbour awoke to find a polystyrene gravestone on their car windshield. I like to think they considered it a death threat from a particularly theatrical criminal before I showed up to claim it sheepishly.

What's the timeframe for something like this? Do I tell the kids socks won't do for daddy's Christmas present this year?

Uhm... yeah. If you want to, pop them into the Calendar thread and yeah... that as the October pic should be a shoe in.

See, it's your fault I ordered 2 sets and that my back-up order will arrive first 'today before 9pm'.

    Primus bless you! :D

'Working from home' with the usual IT wankery. Can't even walk the dogs because someone's liable to phone from IT the second I'm on a windy hill... I state all this because Monday arsery will not be tolerated when I'm hopeful that the Autobot Alliance is arriving today!

Now I really enjoyed the last episode. Are you going to give series two a go when it’s on?

So in my view you don't need to use a PC to play content on TVs these days, most of them can connect and stream / decode content.

I have all my digital content stored on a NAS. This is a Network Attached Storage, a few Terrabytes (6TB in my case) in RAID enclosure. These have UPNP features meaning you can stream to devices around your network: AV receivers, TVs, Xboxes, Blu-ray players etc can use this.

If you have an AV receiver then you can use the ARC (Audio Return Channel) to take the audio from TV sources and play the sound through the amp.

My setup means I can stream my content using the TV and the Amp will play the 5.1 sound and this way you shouldn't need a very limited capacity laptop which can only play content to 1 place at a time. Also you can store all you digital media on the NAS so you have a more secure place to store it and 1 central shared location to access it from. My TV can decode 1080P MKV files with no issues streaming the content from the NAS.

My brother taped them for me off sky one back when it started. I had to check the listings in the tv times and it said s1ep1. I didn't get to see the miniseries until a few years later when i got it on dvd. Mind you, i watched the entire series out of order originally. S1, s3, s2, mini series, s4. I was so confused but still loved it.

Tricia helfer does a truly amazing job. I believe this was her first acting job, she was a fashion model before bsg. You wouldn't think she had no experience watching it.

Haha, i look forward to it. Haven't found a single character yet who isn't total love. I think my only criticism, and it really is a nitpick, is tennant. I hear him as tennant, not as scrooge. But thats because his voice is so recognisable. His performance is spot on though.

While watching the mini series I noticed Baltar saying "There must be some kind of way outta here". That's some serious long game right there!

Just paid for my Breakdown/Vehicon two pack at Comics and Cocktails. Pretty much a "hyped up and it's sold out everywhere else" purchase for me, so unsure if I want to keep it. In case I don't is anybody interested?

TFCon slides yesterday were a bit underwhelming. Liked the MMC reveals but not sure I want to be dragged back in their reformatted line. Defensor looks nice but IMHO weaker than their Combaticons. I had a fairly similar "meh" response to their Combaticons and they turned out to be amazing so reserving judgement.

X-Transbots had some really nice reveals but unsure why they're starting on their second combiner without even completing Menasor. It'll be interesting if these two kickstart Fanstoys on their Defensor.

Fanshobby---still unsure they are for me, but I'm enjoying their playability and the fact that they go after underepresented areas of the franchise. Kudos.

Bit concerning and disappointing that there were no FT reveals/shows at all.

So hey, fun request for all the folks getting the Breakdown/ Vehicon pack, if anyone ends up getting a Breakdown with two right feet let me know. I have a Botcon Megatron (the one based on the breakdown mold) with two left feet, and a switch-a-roo would be helpful!

Absolutely not confident, mine is down for November 7th and I am still imagining getting a "we can't source this item", so until I have a dispatch notice I will keep both on
