Their second biggest figure, Ismenios (tied with Kadmos), is solid as a rock. I have hope that this figure will be fine, but those figures do indeed show that their QC isn't the best in the business.

Yeah. I haven’t heard any major issues with their non-foc stuff. But since FOC is the line that most interests me from them I’m more wary of the recent reported breakings that mostly come from those figures.

PX used to have super solid QC. Actually I was wrong, I think the QC issue might have started with the 6th Dinobot. No breakage, but plenty of looseness if I recall correctly.

My Trypticon is missing half a toe, but that makes him one of a kind ;)

So far the only figure they've made that has an actual QC issue is Triton (Paddles). All other of their figures have had their lemons slip amongst the cracks, but it wasn't something that was too concerning in numbers. Triton, however, I have no clue what happened there.

Triton was most of a poorly designed figure than it was a figure with bad QC; I am aware that the handles of his guns could get stuck in some of his ports.

I’ll wait for reviews too, but hopefully this is a solid release with no issues. It would be nice if they added some additional paint apps though

That would be something, and expensive. Now imagine if someone did an IDW scaled Metroplex.

lots of people had problems with Snarl, but I’ve owned Slag twice and both of them liked to lever the tabs that held the tail inside the legs until they tore. Luckily, I was able to catch it on my second copy and make some adjustments but that tells me it was not an isolated problem.

My Megatron came with no spikes for his back and after a year of TCP badgering them, they still never delivered replacement parts so I had to sell my copy off as-is. I don’t know what possessed me to ever buy anything from them again after that, but so far Ironhide and Ratchet are *okay*... but that might be because they are both so little fun to mess with it that I hardly touch them.

I’m really hoping this guy breaks the cycle for me, I really want him to be good and I would really like to replace my BH Shockwave in my Chug collection. Speaking of which, do we know about how tall this dude is going to be yet?

Planet X has had some doozies over the years. Their Megatron (Pluto) was the first figure where I encountered an out of the box breakage. Luckily, I was able to send it back within my return window and get a replacement from Toy Dojo. I think that's an important point for anyone who pre-orders: make sure to open and transform your figure ASAP to check that everything works the way it should and you have all the parts.

The only other figures I had to work on were Quirinus and Summanus (Slag and Snarl). I had to fix their loose limbs, which was an issue that was well documented here on the forum. Where I lucked out on those two is that I didn't have any broken spikey bits.

I do like how they've switched things up for Kadmos and Ismenios and started to use diecast. This sets those two apart from the rest, and I am very curious to see what other characters they'll add to that line up.

Yeah I remember the first run of Snarl having the spike issues.

I don't think PX is the worst in terms of QC issues, but they used to be really solid and somewhere along the way, they started slipping.

Just wait for 50% off. It will happen.

You guys are really inspiring confidence in how my Kadmos is going to arrive. He's come across from China, been returned (something to do with customs), and is currently (supposedly - tracking hasn't changed yet) on his way back. If the QC is that questionable I'm suddenly not expecting great things, in spite of how well TerryTFS normally packs his shipments.

I'm really surprised they haven't done Bumblebee yet.
And I'd kinda like one, the original hasbro WFC Bee looks like a creepy gremlin

Man my brother loved that figure growing up. It was his show and tell item in kindergarten. But maybe we’ll see something from them tomorrow. At the very least I think we’ll see more of shockwave. Personally I’d like to see at least a new Metallic figure, preferably Megatron, and a prototype of a new figure. I’m honestly a bit surprised they haven’t attempted to undertake the task of trying to make a Bruticus yet.

I think making Fall of Cybertron figures is niche enough without introducing the difficulty of combiners. Look how badly Hasbro's Bruticus ended up. Just a weird spindly mess.

Well I'd say the same about trypticon. And there has been a good force bruticus before. Remember that upgrade kit that was made for foc bruticus that actually made it pretty good? I'm pretty sure foc could pull it off. The real question is more of a, if the markets ready right now. Then again, with money overflowing right now, maybe now is the right time

I do vaguely remember an upgrade kit. And Trypticon is impressive. But still. combiner is a big deal. I think they should leave that for going out on a high note when they run out of other characters

PX has said before that their Trypticon wasn't received well. Talk is cheap while PX has to risk money. "Fans" always have all sorts of excuses but hopefully PX has learn never to trust these #FakeFans.

Was there any real issues with their Trypticon? The only one I’ve heard is that he can be a bit pointy in places, but that he held up well otherwise and looked good.
