    He was similar size to Megatron and Shockwave in Maximum Dinobots and MtMtE. He wasn't even the largest Scavenger, that title went to Spinister

    This is the only time where upscaling a character makes more sense than the source material. Grimlock should be bigger than Megatron.

    Yeah this is hella wrong for MTMTE display. Perfect for a FOC display but that’s not this character, I don’t exactly mind but this gives me a lot more incentive to wait..

    Funnily enough, he was a good head or so taller than Optimus back in Spotlight Shockwave. They kinda normalised the sizes in MtMtE as the series progressed. Probably an artist thing

    I'm glad he's so big. It's nice to get a non-G1 Grimlock at that size for once. We don't really have those other than GCreations AoE Grimlock

    The obvious solution here is to get both PX and MMC :D 

    But I hear you. Personally I’m glad he’s very large, as I always imagine Grimlock being one of the largest Autobots. However, I also understand wanting the scale to be accurate to the source material. But this is one of those characters and designs where it looks too cool to pass up, despite being “too large.” Also, he’s drawn larger in certain pages than others, just like how Bayformers changed scales to fit certain scenes (and budget). So ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    He’s only 10” tall? Pretty small for a grimlock. Was hoping he was larger. Looks like a really cool grimlock.
