Really? I had no idea they'd actually made the other two sets. Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately, the $US32 shipping is beyond ridiculous. Struggling to find them on TaoBao and it would be 2 or 3 months to receive them if I did buy from there...
I think I'll print my own and see how they go. Nice to know there's another option

LOL All good. Kind of used to it now. That's why I shop from TaoBao. Also sucks with official stuff because - no Amazon Japan.
But I don't mind having another project to start, get halfway through then forget about when I get distracted and leave it gathering dust in the shelf. The wing fillers may even be small and easy enough that I actually finish making and painting them! ...maybe.  

 

Lightning arrived today, and Skycrow yesterday. So my Seekers are complete!! They look pretty good with their little Earthrise Brothers too.

I have some paintwork to do to make them both perfect in my eyes, and I have to swap out Skycrow's faction symbols, but man I love these guys!

 

Sooooo I take it Meteor is getting an updated version?

The new faces look good. I do not clearly see any other changes. I hope for a better looking alt mode.

 

Hrm... I'm having a hard time seeing what's improved on Meteor aside from more faces.

And the wing hiding on the legs isn't new.

 

Nah, this cant be true. We're being told over and over by certain members here that "Maketoys is dead." They know all the things, so everyone move along. This didn't happen.

Cue them telling us how this doesn't mean anything and they'll never make these so they're still right that Maketoys is dead though...

It'll probably have the updated nosecone attachment that their Sunstorm had. It's an actual hinge and not just a c-clamp.

It had better have the damn wing fillers standard.

And then some blast effects because why not?

 

I'd be happy if the apparently-not-dead MT opted to re-release their Skywarp and Thundercracker with additional bits and the wing fillers standard, a la Meteor. I don't know if I like their Seeker more than MP-52, but I sure like how much cheaper it is.

 

That's the thing though isn't it. This announcement is great news. It'll be a lot less than the new MP and that will make it sell. I had no interest in meteor because everyone was asking for more than what the new MP was probably gonna go for, now I'm actually kind of torn. The face on the MP sells it for me, but then meteor is cheaper now again lol.

The loads of people who are trying to offload their meteors won't be too happy of course. The resale of this guy has just plummeted in a month.

 

Great.........just spent like $200 on a MISB Meteor last night. Figures.

I REALLY hope they release those new meteor faces separately as well, really don't want to pay for a whole second figure just to get good faces.

A Meteor re-release and repaints is just easy money for them that can hopefully go toward their other far more interesting projects

 

I sold my Meteor as I had convinced myself that there wasn't going to be a reissue and I wouldn't be able to afford the other two so this is good news for me at least  

I wonder if he'll have the wing fillers as standard now
