I'd say depth but I can't compare overload to Megatron's cannon as I have neither

I always argue it had more character than Cybertron did. I like the designs of Cybertron but could never get past the transformation scenes and all that stuff, felt way too extra. In addition the transformation sound in Armada is still to date my favourite version, with the Prime sound coming in a close second.

 

It's flaws add to the experience like with G1, but unlike G1 which stays about the same, Armada's quality increases dramatically as it goes on.

 

G1 Megatron would've been a thousand times better if he had antlers.

 

Imagine movie Megatron having antlers made of shards of shattered metal.

 

I'd buy that for a dollar

 

It's still hands down my favorite Transformers show. Prime is a VERY close second followed by animated. Armada will never be dethroned. I just wish we were getting MP figures instead of the over detailed take fans hobby is giving us.  

 

Just very happy to see that I'm not alone haha. When it first came out, people tore the show to shreds. I know it has its faults, but I really do hope it's now like Animated is: a good show that more people like only years after it ends

 

To be fair it's first third is real rough.

 

Back in the ATT days, I put forth the theory that an Armada "ultimate cut" (basically editing out all the crappy parts) would be pretty awesome... HooksX did a prototype episode, and guess what? It WAS pretty awesome.

I'd absolutely be on board to watch an entire "ultimate edit" of Armada.

 

There's one kind of like that on youtube.

 

Yeah, that was roughly 100x better than the actual first episode.

 

Unfortunately, it cuts a hell of a lot of the story so all of a sudden Scavenger and Sideways are just there as if they always had been.

 

Yeah, I saw they did that with smokescreen in The first episode, but im still here for it. Lol

 

lol I like how they added One Piece music, it's actually surprisingly fitting for Armada.

 

New update for this guy coming soon, hopefully before month's end.

The waiting for both of these guys is insufferable.
Now I want to see how much if at all they changed his bot mode.
