I'm shocked at the lack of Iron Factory what with all their pre orders still in the air. Also I thought Planet X did Vulcan already? What's the new Grimlock for?

 

MMC is making the combiners I want. Literally... I started collecting six years ago and have been patiently waiting for MY teams in a style that \"I\" want. Then comes Assaultus (Bruticus) this year. Awesome! If they truly are reading my mind then the technobots are next, then Constructicons
 

 

He's meant to be idw, whereas vulcan is probably. They're trying to expand into the idw market. I mean try, as this is their third, ignoring victory leo

Don't you mean defensor massacre? Because so far, x transbot hasn't even finished 3 menasors or springer. They seem to have put on their shirt, but have forgotten to put on pants. They skipped the important thing to do first

 

MMC is making rather poor versions of the combiners most of us want, like Defensor. It's a shame there's no alternative announced yet from the G1 MP combiner teams like FT, XTB, Zeta or DX9.

The lack of legends scale reveals was interesting, but I wonder if they have all just decided to keep a lower profile and let their reveals continue to happen through Chinese social sites and by retailers posting their pre-orders.
They all have pretty large backlogs to tackle anyway, and unlike XTB, seem content to focus on what matters rather than posting renders for a bunch of mediocre stuff when they should be finishing what they've already started.

Such an interesting mix of products coming from this panel... general notes:

-Surprised to see almost no Legends-scale stuff. That seems to be overtaking MP, but no news aside from Superion.
-Omnibots are looking stellar, but not for me. Disheartening to see X-Transbots showing off even more projects that will take years to come out, if ever, though.
-Of all the movieverse stuff I'd like to see, I wish it wasn't all Bumblebee movie characters that amounted to glorified cameos. Would rather see MPM representations of characters to round off the movie 1 cast, or even Shatter and Dropkick that just turn into cars.
-No FansToys was interesting. I've noticed them moving to a more toon-focused style recently, so maybe they're reworking figures in the background.
-Wondering why the Raiden got rebranded... maybe Zeta is trying to avoid being shut down fully if Takara decides to take legal action, what with their own Raiden being developed.
-Assuming BadCube is gone? I enjoyed their first few releases, but the intuitive engineering of Brawny and the Insecticons turned more frustrating, but impressive later. Hope the designers found work somewhere else and continue improving.
-Energon Prime? A good number of folks will probably be happy, but I'd like to see companies start taking in Masterpiece-inspired versions of Armada characters, if we're doing Unicron trilogy things. Armada had some of my favorite designs, but the toys were often the least accurate or articulated.

 

They've mostly finished kenasor, but haven't released the trailer. Its db too, since they seem to have it mostly ready too. And they are also behind on the toy and toon one, having not finished the trailers, and their motormasters. Again, finish your main meal before dessert, not the other way around

 

Fh is also planning to do a fh jetfire and overload and megs. Which is why its so weird that they seem to be juggling energon in as well

No, but xtb is showing off their first defensor peice. My point is, actually finish the gestalt before you start the next. Ocular max, on the other hand, has finished assaultus and then starting defensor. And have mostly designed them already At least they finished the main meal before moving to dessert. Whos going to want to buy from you if you can't follow through?
