Love that look cut between joints. That’s what I’ll be doing as well.

Sure it is! But it’s made easier with waterslides when you know how to work them, and joints or creases never bother you then

I actually just had a pretty sharp scissor and aligned the center as best as I could with an old plastic gift card to cut the decal while it was still dry.

Not perfect, but the good thing about having a pretty big space in between both halves of the decal is that you can cheat a bit and it still looks good.

I’ve tried out cutting water slides for FT’s Breakdown and although I got them aligned on the hood nicely, after a while the inner edges started curling up with use because the adhesive wasn’t all the way around that part of the decal anymore. Have you done anything to alleviate that problem, or has your method not shown that fault? Just curious because I’d love to do the same with Astrotrain here but I want to make sure that I can get a good result, unlike with breakdown.

My problem might have been that I accidentally put my finger on the cut decal during transformation, so maybe the oils from my hand disturbed the adhesion of the glue to the plastic.

Mine from Baba was out for delivery on Friday but the lazy hoodrat USPS mail carrier/driver didn't want to get her fat a** out of the truck to deliver the package to my front door so she didn't deliver it at all. Same thing happened on Saturday (yesterday). I had to go to the post office on Saturday and raise hell. Sure enough my package was still sitting there at the office. I picked it up and went home.

This isn't the first time I cut labels, but I haven't had the issue you've had. I do use Micro Sol decal solution so the decal binds better to the edges of the plastic and then add light strokes of floor polish onto the decal and decal edges which does act as a bit of an adhesive.

Sounds like the ghetto cousin of my mail person. She always has her phone in one hand, trying to text and sort mail with 4 inch long fake nails, while talking on her phone, and flipping her 5 feet of fake horse hair left and right everywhere. Don't try to speak to her cause, they'll tell you to call or go to the post office. No dress code standard, no personal hygiene standard, and no regard at all for doing their job properly for which they are paid. The USPS is a joke. I almost never use them when possible. How this system continues to function is beyond me. No one in my neighborhood received mail for 3 days in a row 2 weeks ago. No mail trucks came out anywhere near us.

Any clue how to avoid these blemishes on the sides of the train towards the front? Looks like something arising from the transformation

Looks like the wheel bars were jammed in there in one of the other modes.

any idea how to avoid that issue for future transformations? I just transformed from bot mode to shuttle to train and didn’t force anything remotely, but I did have a manhandled ShowZ package so there could be that I guess

    I hear you, bro.
I have an even larger parcel from Taobao due for delivery this week. Either way I'm gonna have a little chat with her about her performance and my expectations when she arrives to deliver my mail tomorrow.

In any case, Baba again for the free shipping win.
    10/13/2020 order shipped
    10/24/2020 order received

9 days shipping time from China to Atlanta, GA, USA in the middle of a pandemic with free "hard times" shipping. Would have been 8 days if the USPS driver bothered to do her job.
    Baba is the best.

I have the same issues in my area. Been going on for many years now too. Sometimes our mailcreature even throws our outgoing mail on the ground because they can't be bothered to take it and we've found our incoming mail thrown in our garbage can a couple times. Not to mention all the days we just don't get anything anymore. It's a mess.
