Ok, a plastruct 90862 dowel piece cut to size fits perfectly through the Nicee grey neck peg and provides the right tension to hold head poses. I've glued that white piece into the elita head back piece since the sockets it sits in are a bit larger than the dowel. If the glue doesn't hold I'll probably try some molding putty to fill out the size of the pegs in the sockets so it fits just right. I won't be glueing the Elita head halves back in order to keep access, just in case, but she has 4 tight pegs that work fine.

The head pegs into the neck just like the original Nicee head and looks just like @Autotot's off site pic so I won't post it again, but I'm pleased with the end result. Not sure about the alt mode fit, but I don't see why it would be much different from the success they had in their pic. EDIT make sure you orient the grey peg correctly, the peg only goes one way into the neck cylinder and I glued the peg in backwards so the neck was actually backwards. I cut out the piece I glued in and reversed it to fix that.

    Hope folks find this helpful.

strange that you're not only quoting yourself, but doing it with a double-post. :lol

Thanks, this is very helpful! When I was making mine, I did try splitting Elita's head, but wasn't sure if it was glued and didn't want to damage my only copy. Now we can all see how the head's constructed, others can split it and get some better articulation.

Isn't it great how we help each other make better toys!

Wanted to show off what my Nicee looks like after I custimized her helmet so I can peg in her front fenders and turn them into TwinTails.

Maybe you can convince a certain "CEO" contact to do a a separate accessory kit with the original Arcee head, some faceplates (visor or battle mask? just no more animae cat or obscene faces), A second pistol, A sword holding left hand, a relaxed right hand, and a collapsible rifle (like the one that comes with FT Rouge, removable stock and barrel extension to turn it into a heavy blaster). Zeta toys got away with selling their Core Star head as a separate kit... Why not Nicee?

I'd certainly buy an accessory kit that included the parts I mentioned.

Got Nicee today. I have to say, the shape isn't as egregious as the pictures make it look. I plan on changing out the chest (gives me a reason to use my printer!) but I will have to do something about the head. I was highly disappointed when they failed to include an Arcee head.

As for the figure itself, I found it to be very intuitive and easy to transform. The posability is fantastic, as is the paint job.

Posing her next to my OM Azalea, I've gotten to where don't even think of her as Arcee.

    She's her own thing now.

Kinda even partial to the name Nicee.

He tends to mainly interact with the Chinese based folks.

If we have Chinese members here, perhaps they can bug him about those things?

He seems pretty focused on just getting out other products atm. Spotlight on NICEE seems to have come and gone. :D

Adding to my Elita conversion posts, I got some Tamiya TS-59 Pearl Light Red spray paint for the head and I think it's a decent match. It's not perfect, as it is a tad less of the sheen, but it's pretty close and does have somewhat of a sheen itself (also, there are less flat areas in the Elita head compared to the Nicee pink body parts to see that nice flat plane metallic sparkle, due to all of the line work, and I think that has an impact).

I was originally going to use this as a base coat before mixing my own acrylics, but I may just go with it. May be a good option for people not interested in paint mixing and an easy enough, close enough match. I think you have to really look to see the difference.

Pic of the single coat on the head next to the hood (again, no Nicee in pic). Still need to do some detailing in the inner helmet areas near the face.

Well gentlemen and lady, my two Nicee’s finally arrived today after 30 days.

Before I even start with this “review,” let me add, without adding much (because I don’t want this post removed or “edited”/modded) —

There is no reason why this figure shouldn’t be allowed to have pictures posted of her. The “coin slot” we all thought was originally part of the figure is in actuality a LONG ASS SLIT. In no human anatomy anywhere does this resemble *anything*

You could even argue the chest is more conservative than the FP Dinobot girls. That’s all I want to say about this and I don’t want to argue any rules. (Sigh)

    The “review”:

BFB Arcee is probably THEE most “non-‘MP’” “MP” figure of the year (did all those quotation marks confuse y’all? XD lol).

What I mean is - she isn’t meant to be “MP” but is very “MP.” I was expecting a —you know— pretty good figure; nothing super ultra fancy; but she is very fancy and very well put together.

The paint apps are top notch. By some kind of dark magic she stand on her own, she has rubber tires and the faces/head she comes with — whilst not Arcee head/faces — are really well done.

She also comes with a fair amount of accessories (extra hands, a gun, a cool sword and uh .. some green thingy lmao).

I also have come to the conclusion that I will never be able to paint match and/or paint the heads that I bought from Zyros — but I DID paint the tongue on the optional face plate.

I know I’m a nobody; but my final “score”? 8/10. I would have given her a “9” had she come with the faces/heads she was supposed to (and also rating anything a “10” is a little not my thing).

    Happy Halloween guys!

EDIT: I almost forgot to add. Her knee/leg joints are freakin’ awesome.

Thanks for the honest review, and great work on painting that small detail on her 'smiley' face!

I received my Nicee a couple of weeks ago. I was impressed at the work that was put into the box art. All of the accessories are a nice touch, and having a crossbow mod, and a sword is a cool addition for this figure. True, with her cleavage showing, its best to keep her in vehicle mode, but she is a stunning piece of craftmanship in both modes. Well worth the price, as the pearlescent colors bring out a distinct quality to the figure. Very well articulated, and having diecast parts for the joints is a great touch.

My only issue is that she is quite tall, even taller than the standard MP carbots. But, with the inclusion of Ironhide, Ratchet, Grapple, and Inferno, Nicee would fit in well with them.

The head on Nicee had a wisp of pink paint splotch on her right cheek and head armor. Has anyone else had a similar issue?

    @CypherZero -

Thank you for the kind comment and reply!

I am also in agreement with the packaging material. The figure is pretty premium overall.

I was not planning on placing Nicee in my MP-G1/198X collection — she’ll fall in with my IDW collection — so her height doesn’t bug me.

I always appreciate tall-er fembots anyway (not a fan of making them deluxes for the sake of being deluxes - or because they’re female). I love FT Rouge’s height.

Could you take a photo of the paint blotch? I haven’t opened my second copy yet, but I didn’t notice anything with mine. But I didn’t look to close.

Here's a pic of her face with the paint defect. I've sent a message to ShowZStore with the photo of it.
    Nicee paint error.jpg

I'm glad I actually opened the box, because if I had sold this off, just in case my wife saw this, the new buyer wouldn't be so pleased with the paint defect. I know most of you probably purchased 2, one for display, and one to keep. But, there's a chance that your MISB could have a defect. Thankfully, it's only the head, and just this one.

Got mine in today. A bit of a hassle to transform but overall really liking the final product. Its honestly the best blend of a transformer and something akin to a figma. To be honest though I havent handled either any MP Transformers or anime figures so I dont know how accurate my description is. Overall solid figure for a new company. I look forward to the Windblade release even more now.

Man as soon as someone comes up with a chest to swap out that gets rid of the roboobs I'm all over this. I really like most everything about this figure except the boobs and the, uh, bikini detail. I would also want a different face that is not so heart shaped (I personally don't mind the lack of Arcee mode).

On the other hand I could see painting this thing up to go for a more Cyberpunk post human feel. That way the metal ta-ta's could at least make sense.

I'm so torn on this figure lol. It is so well done and so just not my taste at the same time.

For those who can't make a choice on whether or not to buy this figure. You should decide rather quickly. (within the next month or so in fact)

There won't be a Second Wave or any reissues of EX-01 NICEE as stated by Big Firebird both on their Twitter and on their Weibo. Once she's gone, she's gone.

It's why I bought 2. Because if something breaks or needs replacing, it's not going to happen. They have no plans on making spare parts etc.

Their Budget only covered 1 wave of Figures.

I know I posted this a little while ago, but I just wanted to reiterate it again. Because she's going to become very scarce and her price will probably quadruple in the aftermarket. Please get her while you can. You will most certainly regret it later if you don't.

I do not have this on either of my copies (both sets of heads are fine).

I’m glad you contacted Show.Z. Though with what Gauge said above, there may be no option for a replacement piece; hopefully Show has one or two copies on hand he can gut/piece out to people worh replacement parts.

I’m not a MISB guy with Transfoemers. The absolute worst product to be a “MISB person” with.

A MISB Figma figure or some PVC statue with a plastic window? Sure. Transformers? Hell to the nah.

In any event, I sincerely hope you get your issue sorted soon :(
