Okay, quick question in regards to the Dynamax adventures. Let's say you catch every pokemon on the path including the legendary, then you find out that the first one you co=aught was shiny.... If you choose to keep the shiny, do you leave the legendary in the den and you can come back later for it? This is one of those things where i can see it working either way and the only way i would personally test it is with one of the legendary birds (since the galarian birds still count)

It's weird that you don't know if the pokemon is shiny until you choose which one you keep at the very end, btw... at least in my opinion.

But yeah, at a weird point right now. Didn't realize i lacked the shiny charm in Shield, thus making shiny hunting on that one harder. Then there's trying to coordinate on which games to catch which legends and whatnot....
currently at a standstill with choosing the steeds and G-Regi's as mentioned before, so there's that.

I completed the Birds missions, continuing my trend of catching the legendary birds in the process.
Zapdos=random first ball catch. Quick ball (because its fast)
Moltres=pretty tough catch but first go catch. Luxery ball (black to color match)
Articuno= the b**** of the group. to battle AND to get. Great ball (Smugness is pretty great)

I might start my hunt for Sonia's mission (Called her being there, btw) with hunting the Unova beasts. anyone know a good guide?

Check summary on the result screen if you want to see if shiny

Yes the Legendary can be left in the den and you "save" the route to go catch it again if you choose to leave it behind

    Quick question:

I’m shiny hunting Regidrago by killing him the 500 times. However, my Pokemon are losing PP. Would I be able to leave his location without messing up the increased shiny odds?

Sorry, I know this is a dumb question, but I’ve never used this method before.

I said the first part, and good, because i imagine shiny hunting legends would be a b**** otherwise. Thank you.
the defeated pokemon method? Apparently that method is broken because when it's maxed out, it only has %3 chance of boosting the shiny odds per encounter according to dataminers. Also not sure if it works on legends. I never checked. Wish you luck.

Yeah, that's the one. Supposedly according to Poketubers, that method works for the Regis in the DLC, barring Regigigas of course. I've never used that method before due to the error and was curious if I am able to leave the Regi temple and return according to that method without decreasing those shiny odds?

huh... Well, if it relies on the number beaten in the pokedex says, then it should be a constant thing. Still not entirely sure tho.

So I feel stupid about this but at the same time I blame the game on how it presents the information. So when you're battling the Calyrex/horse combo you get two ability notifications, one of which just tells you it has two abilities. I GENUINELY thought the As One ability was one of the two and they literally just had an ability that says the Pokemon had two abilities. :lolol

Wasn't until I looked up Calyrex's combo form in Serebii's pokedex I learned the truth.

Shiny Crown Tundra Pokedex complete. Well, those that can be obtained anyways.
Missing a couple things though that aren't on the dex like a shiny Cosmog and Zygarde Complete Forme. Maybe theres a way to get there with the 50%.
Going to have to go through everything again to see what shiny forms/variants I need.

    EDIT:
    Figured out the Zygarde form...

Aw man I've been looking for somebody to do this since its reveal, in all honesty though I still think if its snowball was gone it would have the crystal like eyebrows of Galarian Darmanitan but bigger. With the snowball crystals just being the button crystals that happen to fall off and on placed on it.

Good to see the awareness though.

Why does Shiny hunting Zygarde have to be so Hard???

I either get stupid A.I. that doesn't keep the right types (fairy/Ice) or I get Stupid humans that avoid the right types in general.

When I do seldom beat him he's never shiny.

Also Alcreamie's decorate is OP Always get it and boost your teammates especially those with type advantage moves

You know I could be wrong and it is just what it is. But if Gamefreak currently struggle with time management due to the Poekmon Company's release schedule. The Gen 8 fossilmons could be a saving grace for designing time, if this is their plan, they could have fossil Pokemon set for another 2 gens even, releasing the other options and then complete forms as the gens go.

It would be a slow burn, but at least we'd have the actual Pokemon as Arceus intended.

Update on my Halloween save: I defeated Leon yesterday. Yeah, pretty much just rushed through the game to hit the exact right date to win. As a result, my team was under-leveled a smidge. My Pumpkaboo—the highest level one—was still about two levels below the average Leon 'mon. Came in clutch to beat Dragapult, though.

I can't even really call it a real victory because my team was all but wiped out. I just so happened to Max Revive Coalossal so it could take out Charizard after Crawdaunt and Galvantula got creamed. But, hey, by technicality my trainer is Champion and her team is:

    Oingo Boingo the Pumpkaboo
    Leech Seed
    Shadow Sneak
    Trick or Treat
    Seed Bomb

    Crawley the Galvantula
    Fury Cutter
    Discharge
    Bug Buzz
    Thunder Wave

    Sandy Claws the Crawdaunt
    Night Slash
    Brick Break
    Crabhammer
    Ice Beam

    Jackie-O the Coalossal
    Incinerate
    Tar Shot
    Bulldoze
    Rock Slide

    Here'sJohnny the Haxorus
    Brick Break
    Crunch
    Swords Dance
    Outrage

    Vampira the Swoobat
    Attract
    Psychic
    Air Slash
    Steel Wing

Definitely the weakest team that I have beaten a game's story with despite using some well-liked Unova Pokémon. If you want a challenge against Leon, I would recommend something poorly balanced like mine with really bad moves (I actually tried to give them better ones, but there wasn't an Earthquake or physical Ghost move in sigh) and to not grind one bit, just battle the trainers you bump into. It was kind of harrowing knowing that I didn't have the Championship in the bag.

Usually come out a few days after. That was a great way to represent the DLC nonetheless. Love seeing more of these characters and Galar.

Also, here's a prime AMV for everyone.
