Honestly, the 2007 version looks better.

What’s more frightening is how WWII Bee and Car Shatter are getting rereleased because there’s so much factory stock thanks to them selling like crap

 

They need to rerelease some of the earlier figures in the line that are going for five times retail or more. For Pete's sake, as Ironhide goes for twice the cost of the MPM.

 

Re-releasing the older more popular figures may get me to buy them, so that may be a bad idea, at least for me.

The plastic color choices are unfortunate.

You'd honestly be better off getting a second 07 Bee and just swapping the headlight pieces onto him.

 

yeah it's underwhelming with that same head as the 2007 version.

however since tonton has this bee which was in the same leak as dino etc,maybe he will review dino soon aswell?

as for re releasing older figures i must agree with ironhide. even hasbro pulse never had a listing for him,it's as if hasbro doesn't even know he exists!

An unmasked head would have pushed this from a "maaaaybe but probably not" to "maaaybe but probably yes" for me.
Sam is neat, he spends all his time running anyway so that pose fits him very much.

 

What a waste of a figure slot. I'm still seeing new shipments of SS49 arriving at Walmarts right now. This really needed the alternate head to make it worthwhile.

 

This is not how any of this works.

The factory produces as much stock as Hasbro is planning to ship out. When they ship out, the factory doesn't have any stock left. If they're getting put in another case asortment, that means the factory produced more stock at Hasbro's request, rather than magically conjuring unsold stock from... where exactly.

 

Just like Clunker Bumblebee, this is a slightly tweaked re release if the previous year's Bumblebee so that kids and new fans don't have to track down the older figure.

Either way that Sam is terrible, a normal pose would have been better IMO.
