    There should be a picture floating around that shows the two next to each other, I might've imagined that though.

    Broken record but I hope this leads to a 2.0 of Tyrantron.

    It keeps spinning for a reason. We know what he was supposed to transform into now. If they want the old design to remain special, don't include the conversion parts for the drill tank.

    I hope so too. I do not like Tyrantron’s proportions at all. The arms are too long, legs are too short and fat. The face sculpt was good, I’ll give it that (although there’s room for improvement there too). So I’d 100% be down for a 2.0. I’m also still waiting for somebody to do a proper MP scale MTMTE Megatron

    You don't think that they'll retool this and put it into their MMC Infinity line? I don't see why not.

    I personally didn’t care for a lot of those designs, but they did make an evergreen Barricade design.... so that sort of automatically makes me hope for them to be made.

    You can't retool this into that design, they transform so fundamentally different it wouldn't work. An Earth mode Optimus would need an all new mold, even the heads would be different. Now could they make that design for their Infinity line? That is possible. It will not be off the Optus Pexus mold though. And that's okay. I'd take another version of Prime by MMC real quick. Prime and MMC are just a perfect match; doesn't matter which version of Prime or which subline of MMC.

    I love the final look for Optimus in IDW. It’d be a lot more fitting with Tyrantron as well. I’ve gushed on before in how good it looks. But the final battle especially looks so cool. With the Ginrai cannons and the flag pole, that’d be an absolutely perfect figure.

    I always thought it was so cool, and against tropes, that IDW Prime didn't die until the second to last issue of the continuity and that they resisted bringing him back. I love Robo-Jesus and everything, but man that bit has been done to death!

    That new head looks so much better. This is one of my most anticipated releases for next year. Might rival Striker Manus as my favorite voyager/ultra size Optimus

    They didn't capture the original designs proportions well nor is it very accurate, sacrificed everything for articulation.
