I got lucky yesterday afternoon/evening and was able to score one from the store (Store nearest to my house. I happened to go in on my way back from work.). So, I'm good now. Check your stores as well guys! Good luck when the online listing goes up.
Anyone interested in this SDCC NECA case? I don’t have the turtle tray anymore but I do have the Foot tray. let me know !
lol! It’s big enough for a picnic lunch. Also, a few folks updated their NECA relationship status this morning lol
Just curious what happened to the turtles plastic tray . It's very tempting, I'll think about it. I have 3 loose turtles and 2 foot soldiers that need a home lol. Man, what the hell happened with yesterday's drop? I wish I had an international relative/friend to ship a Triceraton to. Our Canadian turtle friends must be rejoicing.
I suggest people call all their local Targets in the mean time. They stocked these yesterday in the late afternoon at my local Target.
I'm going to go out tomorrow morning to hopefully snag the Galaxy's Edge Hondo droid, if I happen to run across another Triceraton/Rodney set, I probably wouldn't say no.
This thing was in stock for a few seconds a few hours ago and I caught it by chance but I could not add it to my cart. Something is really screwy with the Target listing or bots were insanely fast. Could this thing have been sold out already? Regardless. What's really aggravating is no updates, and it is like they have been avoiding Twitter for the past two days though they love retweeting pictures of folks occasionally getting lucky at their local Targets.
Found these at my local Target. They had the Triceraton/Road Kill Rodney, the Rock soldiers and Bebop/Rocksteady.
Yeah, I noticed my closest store's stock status changed from Not Available to Out Of Stock after dinner last night while waiting on the online sale, so I knew they'd sold at least one set, but I hoped not all of them. I called three times without any answer whatsoever. That was kinda annoying, but I decided it was worth a quick check, and whaddya know, there was just one left on the shelf. First time I've seen a Turtles set at that location in a very, very long time. It's hard to say for sure just yet, but I don't think it's actually gone live yet. The eBay auctions have increased in the last few days, but so have the in-store sightings, and you aren't seeing a lot of California seller locations like you normally do after the online sale. The sellers are mostly following the east-to-west distribution of this set. I wouldn't give up completely on the Target site just yet, if you can't find any locally.
The SDCC Anime Turtles' aftermarket value was absurdly high, so I sold them to paid off credit card debt lol.
Wow that is at least 3 of the dino packs. Someone in here was looking for a bebop and rocksteady set but danged if I can recall who.
They stocked about 3 Bebop and Rocksteady packs, 5 Leo and Shredders, and 3 Triceratons (I bought all 3 as that is what the toon showed to be screen accurate. So yeah, I'm done with the Infantry troops. And I'm good on the RKRs.). I walked into Target in the late afternoon, and just happened to stumble on the NECA stocker filling up the shelf (2nd time this happens). Earlier in the week there was only one other Target that said that they had them, but were sold out in minutes. BTW, don't place too much faith in the Target employees. Those kids will often say that their store no longer carries the TMNT figures, but then I encounter something about an hour or so later. Just call them to get an idea.
Super 7 did a wonderful job of re-creating the original 1980s Ninja Turtle action figures. My Foot Soldier even broke his arm off, just like a vintage figure. Stupid elbows wouldn't bend no matter what and the left elbow completely snapped off at the pin instead of actually bending. I had heard Super 7 sometimes had this issue, but had never gotten anything aside from weak ankle joints on some of my MotU figures. To have this happen to my Foot Soldier is simply disheartening, to say the least. I notified BBTS Customer Service, but I don't expect much of it. Having a figure break on you after only a few minutes out of the package is a really annoying habit, it hasn't happened too many times, but has become more frequent in later years of my collecting life and I am beginning to not like it. Here I am worried about my NECA stuff breaking joints and instead I should have been more concerned about Super 7. Who knew?
That sucks, man. Maybe BBTS will let you return it and refund you. And, I thought S7 said they were going to re-release that wave, if I’m not mistaken...hopefully you get a second shot at it.
I ordered two, one in the complete wave and one by itself when I realized I'd like to have two. Unfortunately I forgot to ship it with my other Pile of Loot so I'm going to have to wait for my next PoL shipment and hope that one doesn't break. I'll get more if they re-release it, but I am really hoping I don't get any more shit quality figures.
Sweet...nice that you have a backup. These QC issues bum me out...especially since the toys keep getting more and more expensive. It seems like there have been fewer breakages with the NECA stuff recently and the joints on pretty much everything I’ve gotten the past few months haven’t been the nightmare I’ve experienced on many of their figures in the past. I still only own two S7 products; hopefully the two S7 TMNT figures I have on order turn out better than they are.
